Psalms For Protection

Introduction

Psalms have been said for many reasons, from "Healing" the body to healing the soul by rectifying "Karma" and express tracking the souls journey to the next level.

Psalms are also used for personal protection. If you believe that you are being "psychic" attacked, then you can use these Psalms to help protect yourself.

I have found that they work extremely well when used together with the method on the "Psychic Vampires" page. Funny name but good information.

The power of Psalms to draw down Light directly from The Creator has been hidden from most people since they were written (unfortunately).

When you combine Psalms with spiritual intent as described on the "The Secret Passwords" page, you literally have the potential to rectify the entire planet.

This is not a theory - it is a stated fact by such luminaries as the third Lubavitcher Rebbe who noted that reciting Psalms "shatters all barriers," allowing prayers to ascend and create positive effects.

"If you only knew the power of verses of Tehillim (Psalms) and their effect in the highest Heavens, you would recite them constantly," is attributed to the Tzemach Tzedek (Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneersohn, 1789–1866) (Hayom Yom for Shevat 24)

Rebbe Nachman of Breslov also strongly advocated for the recitation of Psalms in times of healing, need, distress, or for spiritual rectification.

2. May the Lord answer you on a day of distress, may the name of the God of Jacob fortify you.
3. May He send your aid from His sanctuary, and may He support you from Zion.
4. May He remember all your meal offerings and may He accept your fat burnt offerings forever.
5. May He give you as your heart [desires], and may He fulfill all your counsel.
6. Let us sing praises for your salvation, and let us assemble in the name of our God, may the Lord fulfill all your requests.
7. Now I know that the Lord saved His anointed, He answered him from His holy heavens, with the mighty acts of salvation from His right hand.
8. These trust in chariots and these in horses, but we-we mention the name of the Lord our God.

1. A song of David. The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.
2. He causes me to lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside still waters.
3. He restores my soul, He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name's sake.
4. Even when I walk in the valley of darkness, I will fear no evil for You are with me, Your rod and Your staff - they comfort me.
5. You set a table before me in the presence of my adversaries, You anointed my head with oil, my cup overflows.
6. May only goodness and kindness pursue me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for length of days.

2. Save me, O God, for water has come up to my soul.
3. I have sunk in muddy depths and there is no place to stand, I have come into the deep water, and the current has swept me away.
4. I have become weary from calling out, my throat has become parched, my eyes fail while I wait for my God.
5. Those who hate me for nothing are more numerous than the hairs of my head, mighty are those who would cut me off, who are my enemies because of lies, what I did not steal, I will then return.
6. O God, You know my folly, and my acts of guilt are not concealed from You.
7. Do not let those who hope for You be shamed through me, O Lord God of Hosts, let those who seek You not be disgraced through me, O God of Israel.
8. For I have borne humiliation because of You, disgrace has covered my face.
9. I was strange to my brothers, and alien to the sons of my mother.
10. For the envy of Your house has consumed me, and the humiliations of those who blaspheme You have fallen upon me.
11. And I bewailed my soul in fast, and it was a disgrace for me.
12. And I made sackcloth my raiment, and I became a byword to them.

15. Save me from mud that I not sink, that I be saved from my enemies and from the depths of water.
16. Let neither the current of water sweep me away, nor the deep swallow me, and let a well not close its mouth over me.
17. Answer me, O Lord, for Your kindness is good, according to Your abundant mercies, turn to me.
18. And do not hide Your face from Your servant, because I am distressed, hasten to answer me.
19. Come close to my soul, redeem it, because of my enemies, redeem me.
20. You know my humiliation, my shame, and my disgrace, all my oppressors are before You.
21. Humiliation has broken my heart and I have become ill, I hoped for sympathy but there was none, and for comforters but I found none.
22. They put gall into my food and for my thirst they gave me vinegar to drink.
23. May their table before them become a trap, and [their hope] for peace become a snare.
24. May their eyes become dark, so they cannot see, constantly cause their loins to slip.
25. Pour out Your fury upon them, and may Your burning wrath overtake them.
26. May their palace be desolate, in their tents let there be no dweller.
27. For You-those whom You smote they pursued, and about the pain of those whom You wounded they tell.
28. Add iniquity to their iniquity, and let them not come into Your charity.
29. May they be erased from the book of life, and may they not be inscribed with the righteous.
30. But I am poor and in pain, may Your salvation, O God, exalt me.
31. I shall praise the name of God with song, and I shall magnify Him with a thanksgiving offering.
32. And it will appeal to the Lord more than a young bull that is mature, with horns and hooves.
33. When the humble see, they rejoice, yea, those who seek God, and your heart will be invigorated.
34. For God hearkens to the needy, and He does not despise His prisoners.
35. Heaven and earth will praise Him, the seas and everything that moves therein,
36. When God saves Zion and builds the cities of Judah, and they dwell there and take possession of it.
37. And the seed of His servants inherit it, and those who love His name dwell therein.

Psalm 91 ↟↟

1. He who dwells in the covert of the Most High will lodge in the shadow of the Almighty.
2. I shall say of the Lord [that He is] my shelter and my fortress, my God in Whom I trust.
3. For He will save you from the snare that traps from the devastating pestilence.
4. With His wing He will cover you, and under His wings you will take refuge, His truth is an encompassing shield.
5. You will not fear the fright of night, the arrow that flies by day,
6. Pestilence that prowls in darkness, destruction that ravages at noon.
7. A thousand will be stationed at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it will not approach you.
8. You will but gaze with your eyes, and you will see the annihilation of the wicked.
9. For you [said], "The Lord is my refuge", the Most High you made your dwelling.
10. No harm will befall you, nor will a plague draw near to your tent.
11. For He will command His angels on your behalf to guard you in all your ways.

1. A song for ascents. I shall raise my eyes to the mountains, from where will my help come?
2. My help is from the Lord, the Maker of heaven and earth.
3. He will not allow your foot to falter, Your Guardian will not slumber.
4. Behold the Guardian of Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.
5. The Lord is your Guardian, the Lord is your shadow, [He is] by your right hand.
6. By day, the sun will not smite you, nor will the moon at night.
7. The Lord will guard you from all evil, He will guard your soul.
8. The Lord will guard your going out and your coming in from now and to eternity.

1. A song of ascents. Of David. Had it not been for the Lord Who was with us, let Israel declare now.
2. Had it not been for the Lord Who was with us when men rose up against us,
3. Then they would have swallowed us raw when their anger was kindled against us.
4. Then the waters would have washed us away, illness would have passed over our soul.
5. Then the wicked waters would have passed over our soul.
6. Blessed is the Lord, Who did not give us as prey for their teeth.
7. Our soul escaped like a bird from the hunters' snare, the snare broke, and we escaped.

2. Rescue me, O Lord, from an evil man from a man of robbery You shall guard me.
3. Who plotted evil things in their heart, every day they gather to wage war.

5. Guard me, O Lord, from the hands of a wicked man, from a man of robbery You shall watch me, who plotted to cause my steps to slip.
6. Haughty men have concealed a snare for me, and [with] ropes they spread a net beside [my] path, they laid traps for me constantly.
7. I said to the Lord, "You are my God." Hearken, O Lord, to the voice of my supplications.
8. God, O Lord, the might of my salvation, You shall protect my head on the day of battle.
9. O Lord, do not grant the desires of the wicked, do not let his thoughts succeed, for they are constantly haughty.

24. יְהִי שֻׁלְחָנָם לִפְנֵיהֶם לְפָח וְלִשְׁלוֹמִים לְמוֹקֵשׁ:
25. תֶּחְשַׁכְנָה עֵינֵיהֶם מֵרְאוֹת וּמָתְנֵיהֶם תָּמִיד הַמְעַד:
26. שְׁפָךְ עֲלֵיהֶם זַעְמֶךָ וַחֲרוֹן אַפְּךָ יַשִּׂיגֵם:

32. אֲהַלְלָה שֵׁם אֱלֹהִים בְּשִׁיר וַאֲגַדְּלֶנּוּ בְתוֹדָה:
33. וְתִיטַב לַיהוָה מִשּׁוֹר פָּר מַקְרִן מַפְרִיס:
34. רָאוּ עֲנָוִים יִשְׂמָחוּ דֹּרְשֵׁי אֱלֹהִים וִיחִי לְבַבְכֶם:
35. כִּי שֹׁמֵעַ אֶל אֶבְיוֹנִים יְהוָה וְאֶת אֲסִירָיו לֹא בָזָה:
36. יְהַלְלוּהוּ שָׁמַיִם וָאָרֶץ יַמִּים וְכָל רֹמֵשׂ בָּם:
37. כִּי אֱלֹהִים יוֹשִׁיעַ צִיּוֹן וְיִבְנֶה עָרֵי יְהוּדָה וְיָשְׁבוּ שָׁם וִירֵשׁוּהָ:

How To Use
