Top Introduction

1st Lesson for beginners.

If you start meditating and you start continuiously yawning - this is good - because it shows that your blocked energies are being moved and unblocked.

Please keep going.

If you just want to learn , please click here, otherwise, there is a lot of information below to help you become wiser. Please enjoy.

I need to clarify a few things first.

1) Going from beginners meditations to advanced meditation requires that you learn to control your mind.

For obvious reasons, this will not be easy.

Most people expect some kind of experience mainly due to misconceptions and lies we are fed on TV and movies.

Think of meditation like becoming an Olympic Mind Athlete.

It requires practice and dedication, discipline and will power and most of all, it requires a lot of "time".

Some people are highly advanced souls and meditation "experiences" will come very quickly to them, but for most people, meditation will require many years of experience.

Throughout this website I offer ways that you can expedite your meditation (and prayer) experiences, but again, these also require that you have a very solid grounding in meditation to start with.

This is because you really need to build up your mind-muscles.

2) References

This website cross references many advanced esoteric teachings and concepts mixed in with the text.

This is because you need to know that there is a "place to go" after you get to each level.

One of my teachers called this the "Tarzan Principle" where you always have the next vine lined up to take you closer to your destination.

You are not expected to know "all" of these advanced concepts, but be aware that if you re-read these pages multiple times, many more things will start making sense to you. This cross-threading is called "Weaving A Garment Of Light".

3) Experience - Lots Of Experience

Whilst I have over 52 years of experience with fasting and meditation, I do not consider myself an expert.

As 1 of my teachers once told me, "The day you become an expert is the day you learn from the Source" and even then you are still a student.

I do however, have lots and lots of experience - both good and bad experiences - which I am happy to pass on to those who are interested in not making my mistakes.

I have travelled to (and lived in) many countries and studied many different "techniques" of Meditation with teachers from Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Israel, Egypt, India, Tibet and Japan.

Whenever I go to a new country, I always start off as a beginner in their local meditation techniques. This is a great way to see the different structures from the ground up.

Another important point which is often overlooked is that whilst you may go to see Sai Baba or the Dalai Lama or other Great Luminous Teachers, and whilst you "may" be granted an "audience" with these great luminaries, this does NOT automatically elevate you to the status of personal student.

In fact, to get into the "inner circles" of these great Masters often requires many 10's of years of study and dedication.

Plus you need to be fluent with their scriptures, language and even sect ideologies in most cases.

Many people attend "lectures" given by great Masters but again, this does not (NOT) automatically qualify you as a "personal" student. Regardless of what your ego tells you.

For example: When I wanted to study personally with Sai Baba (Sathya Sai Baba) at his ashram "Puttaparthi", I was told that someone called "Jack" would be my teacher and that as I ascended (up the ladder - so to speak) I would get new teachers.

Note the word teachers (plural) - and while Jack was a truly wonderful guy and very knowledgeable, he was not "The" Master I was seeking.

Jack did however teach me many very important lessons which he had learned from his teachers.

One of which was: "We (plural) think of ourselves as important and deserving immediate attention when in fact the grass on the ground has a greater significance than our own opinion of ourselves." He further said that "grass knows just how close to the ground it is".

I displayed the typical uninformed mind of the average Westerner who thinks (or not) that they (we) can simply rock up to such an important Guru and expect that they will teach us personally.

Humility is respected and arrogance is not.

a time to fly and a time to BE stillJack also told me that "There is a time to crawl, a time to walk, a time to run, a time to fly and a time to BE still".a time to fly and a time to BE still

Very humbling lessons to be sure and ones that took me many years to fully grasp.

The first one begins to translate like this.

Most of us in the Western world have "PILL" mentality.

It was once put to me like this: Young people want to get a job at a company and the next day be on the "Board of Directors".

People want to be given a and suddenly be enlightened - and what makes this SO MUCH worse these days is that if you teach someone something deep and profound which is tailored specifically for them, they want to post it on Social Media without any concern for any repercussions to the people reading their posts. +

Want to better organize your brain?

Meditation helps many people do this.

Being "Red Pilled" is not reality. You may have an epiphany or an in depth realization, but taking a pill to find enlightenment is complete nonsense.

Even ascended Masters who come back to this level must work hard to regain their proper spiritual levels before they can truly teach.

Let me explain: Being an ascended Master is a way of life, it is a 100% lifestyle and not something you do when you give lessons or have meetings. You must 101% live the life of an ascended Master - and ALL of the responsibilities which go with that.

I should point out here that reincarnation memories "usually" cease by the age of 8 and most cease by the age of 5. + +

Red PillThe "Red Pill" is not reality.
Even ascended Masters who come back to this level must work hard to attain their proper spiritual levels before they can truly teach.
Red Pill

Unlike drugs, once you have mastered ascension, you do not need to pay a cent for it. With regular practice, it is yours for life. Plus, the benefits are infinitely more beneficial than destroying your mind with hallucinogenic drugs.

The path of self-discovery is one of the greatest joys you can have in this life. It shows you that your self-worth is actually worth something and that you are valuable.

However this does require the ability to think laterally, vertically, logically, esoterically** and horizontally (all at the same time) - or not at all as in the case of true Faith which only happens when you truly dwell in the house of The Lord.

** Thinking esoterically means that you do not confine your thoughts and concepts to this physical tangible plane. For example: Why is the Universe not just random dust (if that) and even then - How did the dust evolve from the supposed radiation which supposedly happened immediately after the Big Bang? +

How was it that the aggregate radiation specifically formed "dust"?

IF the Big Bang theory is correct (IF), then atoms also formed from this cooling radiation. So why (WHY) are there no experiments (that I can find) showing this process?

Beware Of Fraud ↟↟

I will offer 1 "warning" here. Be careful with whom you are dealing.

In 1980, I once went to Petaling Jaya (KL Malaysia) to study with an "un-named" Rinpoche (supposedly from Tibet) and during my time there I discovered that the "translator" was constantly "fleecing" people of money. In some cases, he was asking for as much as people were prepared to pay - often in the 10's of thousands of $$$.

Example: At one stage I expressed a strong interest in going to Tibet as it was my country of destination anyway. I was offered a "bargain" price of around $16,500+ USD for me to be "inserted" into Tibet by "specialist personnel".

In 1980, $16,500 USD was a "Kings Ransom" to be sure. See how much it is worth today adjusted for .

When I declined the "offer" and pointed out that I could "fly" from Malaysia to Tibet for less than $300 USD, I was bluntly asked to leave.

In defense of being impartial, I am not implying or stating that "this" Rinpoche was involved in these scams - in which his translator seems to be immersed - and many of the teachers I have met since then have NO interest in material possessions, however, I feel that I must also point out that dishonesty abounds in all places in this world - so please be wary.

Example 2 ↟↟

Tuesday Lobsang Rampa

Tuesday Lobsang Rampa (aka: Cyril Henry Hoskin) wrote many books in the 1960's and 1970's and claimed to be the reincarnation of a Tibetan monk. Turned out that he was a plumber from Devon UK.

He famously claimed that to open the metaphysical third eye, you had to drill a hole in your forehead.

You may automatically - and correctly - know that this is beyond insane, but I actually knew a guy who was seriously contemplating doing the hole in the head business.

Did I mention the fact that the third eye was metaphysical? (not physical)

Hopefully, this is not the most stupidest thing that you have ever heard of ... Right?

For a 100% FACT I can assure you that the Third Eye is associated with the soul and has nothing to do with your cranium. (from the Greek krania)

Please be careful.

Student or Teacher or Both? ↟↟

I was taught that a true student must also be a teacher but a true teacher must have the knowledge and wisdom to know what to teach, to whom to teach and when to teach.

You may think of The Truth like a very tall ladder, and people are on different "rungs" (levels), so they may be able to absorb the knowledge and wisdom of their own level - if they try and jump ahead, they get confused because they have missed out on the important knowledge stages in between.

Final Thought.

The one singular thing that all of the teachers I met have in common is that until you have mastered their version of the basics no one wants to personally teach you any advanced methods.

You may often get riddles and - but the advanced stiff is for advanced students.

These riddles and Koans are all designed to helps expand your mind.

NOTE: Mastering "The Basics" usually takes MANY years to achieve. But until you do master them, you will have to come back into lower soul levels until you do. It is your choice.

So do not get too deluded that you will instantly become a DJedi Master after uncontrollably cutting a rock in half.

No Ego and No Fantasies

Proper Meditation is like body building your mind, it takes positive daily practice and years of commitment.

Top Benefits Of Chanting

There is a lot of conflicting information about whether to chant your mantra or prayer or to say them silently.

Chanting vibrations release Nitric Oxide, helps stimulate NeuroGenesis and the right mantra (like the ) also activates Gamma Waves (oscillations) throughout your entire body

I write more about the benefits of here.

Top Beginners Meditation

Let Us Begin.

There are several main types of meditation techniques for beginners.

These are highly recommended NOT to use as I explain.

Top Guided Meditation

Pro ↟↟

Guided Meditation is where someone talks you (typically) down a "path" or a sequence of muscle relaxation exercises.

This is an "extremely limited and basic" meditation for people who have overactive minds or who like to be told what to do.

You will still need to learn to control your

Con ↟↟

Guided Meditation is a basic and very limited start but you will never be able to do Advanced meditation, Ascension meditation or Akashic records meditation. These all require strict discipline.

How To Do Guided Meditation ↟↟

You need someone to talk you through the relaxation process and this should be someone who is experienced at doing this.

To write down this elongated process here would literally take pages and it would not really do you any good because - as stated above - you really need to be listening to someone talking you through this process.

So we will skip to the next topic.

Top Transcendental Meditation

Pro ↟↟

Transcendental Meditation is a basic introduction to Mantra meditation.

Most people who teach you how to do this will "typically" charge you from $600 - $1,000 for a 20 minute ceremony.

Click here and I will show you how to do for free.

Con ↟↟

I am not a supporter of Transcendental Meditation and I think that it is long outdated.

Let me explain.

Transcendental Meditation (TM) works best for someone who ONLY studies scriptures and has NOTHING to do with the outside world.

Like Zazen meditation, TM encourages you to contemplate thoughts - as - you may have them.

In todays world of information overload, this method is a complete waste of time if you are serious about

Transcendental Meditation (IMO) is not the best technique to start meditating and certainly NOT even a good long term method. REMEMBER you only have this lifetime, so why waste your time chasing miscellaneous thoughts.

I discuss the negative aspects and limitations of method here.

Top Zazen Meditation

Zazen Meditation has severe limitations just like Transcendental Meditation.

If you are serious about using meditation as a vehicle to grow spiritually, then I would suggest Controlled Meditation as a better option.

I have written a complete page about here.

Top Controlled Meditation

Pro ↟↟

Controlled Meditation teaches you mental discipline and this is critical if you want to do any more advanced meditation techniques later.

Con ↟↟

People with very lazy attitudes - or no idea - will often use this technique because they are not aware of its limitations.

How To Do Controlled Meditation ↟↟

is where you take a basic Mantra and simply repeat it or for at least 20-30 minutes once or twice a day.

You also need to learn how to control your

If you get any thoughts, you need to truncate (circumcise) these thoughts immediately and go back to your mantra (immediately).

Lets Start ↟↟

  • Wash your hands, wear loose natural organic clothing.***
  • Sit on a comfortable chair where your back can be as straight as possible (do NOT lay down).
  • Turn off all background noise, like music, someone talking, TV etc.

*** Loosen your clothing - especially if you are wearing tight fitting shoes, socks, undies, bra (things most people are unaware of usually) because you need to do deep breathing exercises.

Keep your feet flat on the ground.

Rest your hands loosely on your lap (do not hold them).

Take 3 - 5 deep slow breaths and close your eyes.

You can choose 1 word or multiple words as your mantra.

Simply repeat this mantra for at least 20 - 30 minutes (if possible) twice a day.

Use this to help you with breathing control.

1 Ping = Inhale for 10 seconds - next ping = exhale for 10 seconds - repeat.

2 Mantras for you. ↟↟

You can also use the 10 second ping when you do the following 2 mantras. This is really good for mental discipline.

More information here on .

Kids? ↟↟

Ideally you should try and meditate when you have the least distractions, kids, noisy TV or other such distractions should be avoided or else your peace time will quickly devolve into hell and you will end up more stressed than before.

This is because of a "failure of expectation" or if you prefer the "expectation of failure" where you expect something nice and wonderful to happen, but instead, the opposite occurs.

If you have the expectation of failure, may I suggest that you try doing for at least 6 - 12 weeks first. This way you will create a much more beneficial and powerful meditation moving forward.

Also, you may like to consider getting your children involved in meditating. Meditation helps calm the brain and this leads to less stress with exams and negative online content against them *if they are experiencing these psychological attacks from other students), more helpful tips here on .

Top Visualization Meditation

Pro ↟↟

This is a great meditation, especially when combined with breathing meditation.

It allows you to watch a "big screen" TV and also prepares you for more advanced meditations techniques.

Con ↟↟

Not everyone can visualize.

This should be perceived as an adjunct to deeper mantra meditation and not relied on as the sole method of meditating.

Visualization Meditation ↟↟

  • Wash your hands, wear loose natural organic clothing.***
  • Sit on a comfortable chair where your back can be as straight as possible (do NOT lay down).
  • Turn off all background noise, like music, someone talking, TV etc.

*** Loosen your clothing - especially if you are wearing tight fitting shoes, socks, undies, bra (things most people are unaware of usually) because you need to do deep breathing exercises.

If you are older, please consider a Recliner and set it to lean back approx 30 - 40 degrees. Click image.

Take several deep breaths to calm yourself.

I have found the following to be the easiest method for most people.

1) Imagine you are in an elevator (lift) and you are going down 1,000 floors.

Start at 1,000, then 999, then 998, then 997 etc etc.

Try and do this by slowing your breathing down and focusing on going down 1 level per breath. Also use this to help control your breathing. Inhale = 1 ping and then exhale = 1 ping.

Alternatively ↟↟

You can also visualize a light at the end of a very long tunnel and see yourself moving towards that light.

Again, use the 10 second ping to inhale and exhale so that you are better able to control your breathing.

Magnify ↟↟

If you want to magnify this, add a mantra and say (or think) each word for 10 seconds using this .

Do this meditation for at least 20 minutes twice a day.

This helps build a very valuable part of your brain which is required for advanced ascension meditation.

A very good example of Visualization Meditation is .

Top Breathing Meditation

I have moved the segment to its own page.

Top The Golden Mantra

Pro ↟↟

Easy to learn, includes breathing, visualization, focus, mantras and the feeling that you do count and you personally can make a difference.

Teaches you how to control your Monkey Mind at the same time.

Con ↟↟

This meditation technique is only for good people.

Golden Mantra Meditation ↟↟

  • Wash your hands, wear loose natural organic clothing.***
  • Sit on a comfortable chair where your back can be as straight as possible (do NOT lay down).
  • Turn off all background noise, like music, someone talking, TV etc.

*** Loosen your clothing - especially if you are wearing tight fitting shoes, socks, undies, bra (things most people are unaware of usually) because you need to do deep breathing exercises.
