For most people, what you believe is what you are taught - either directly or indirectly. If you grow up in a society (for example) that believes in this religion or that religion, then - in most cases - this is what you will also believe. Even if it is replete with lies and falsehoods. This represents the majority of people. For the select few however, they will challenge the authenticity of what they have been taught and seek other or alternate answers to the mysteries of life and Creation. Most of the people who convert from one religion to another will also fall "by the way" by simply following the new dogmatic rules. Even if the new religion is also full of lies and deception - as is often the case. Most people shop on convenience and not intellect. Religious impulse buying syndrome. There is one religion which teaches that 1 errant woman will drag 4 men down to hell with her and in the same breath, the teaching says that there are more women in hell than men. This is the basis for honor killings by people of low intelligence. Religions that base teachings around sex and material possessions are an obvious red flag.
This is typically because many people like to feel superior to others and yet they ultimately simply become sheep in another tribe. To the very rare few who seek the elevation of truth in its purest form, you will look across many religions and belief systems and if you are wise, you will see that Love and Truth are the first 2 keys to finding the real answers you are seeking. Be in the world but not of the world is a saying that means that while you are alive, do not engross your time with material desires or gossip. Seek the Creator with all of your heart and elevate your soul while you can. We live in a magic time of world wide knowledge at our fingertips but sadly most people are fascinated by distractions. Any religion, group or country that seeks domination by force, murder, rape or violence is truly evil and their teachings are based on satanic ideology. Remember: How you perceive the world and reality is based on your upbringing. But you can ascend higher IF you choose. I remember many times that seekers with whom I was studying, would ask teacher(s) questions and yet when the teacher(s) answered these questions, many of the "students" would literally become mentally overloaded and go into their denial stage - or as 1 teacher put it - "retreat back into their cave". As the Followed by "I was never born" is a very "Vedic" concept most commonly attributed to those who are on a very high spiritual level because they understand something most people do not even think about. So that I do not ruin anyone's journey of self-realization, I will not put the answer to this question here. Religion ↟↟ Religion is a construct just like a car, plane, house or anything else, it is first fabricated in the minds of people who seek solace in groups. For those of you who study ancient texts, you may notice that the "stories" (often referred to as myths) are told on a level that most people see them as "stories" but these same stories have hidden meanings. This is true in all of the Vedic scriptures, the Torah, dynastic Egyptian myths and many other ancient stories about religion. This may be easier to understand after you read the The "true" path to The Creator needs no group therapy sessions, it only requires the person to genuinely embrace the Verses below. The Essence Of True Religion is spiritual ascension towards The Divine by utilizing the invisible passwords called peace, truth, love and unity. The Essence Of False Religion is violence, war, destruction, dictatorship, more violence and is the polar opposite to the love of the Creator. The absolute worst of these false religions are those that forcibly convert people, rape, murder and steal in the name of their gods - and all of these things are abhorrent to any civilized intelligent person. Distractions ↟↟ Most people are continually distracted by falsehoods and different idols, including but not limited to vanity, ego, money, looks, possessions and other such temporary, distracting and fleeting physical enamorements.
( Dalai Lama ↟↟ In many of his "lectures" and teachings, The Dalai Lama talks about "joy" and unfortunately, most people who re-post or spread his message only pass on part of his message. If you listen to his full message, you will see that he talks about the "absolute joy" of being "In The Presence Of God" every day. This is the source of his joy. Sadly, many people think that they need Gunja or Kef or Hemp or other such herb in order to feel joy. This desire for drugs is a delusion. People who take recreational drugs are simply doing so to seek attention. They are not genuine in their seeking and only settle for minutes of feeling nice instead of "living" this feeling Why not learn to meditate to advanced levels and then you can have this joy 24x7 and it costs you nothing. In order to advance to these higher levels, you need something like Summary Of Religions ↟↟ If you were to summarize all religions - the good ones - you would find the following Verses would encapsulate the condensed form of the totality of all of their primary teachings.
I have condensed all of Creation down to just 4 verses (so far). If you are arrogant, you will think I am arrogant but if you meditate on these 4 verses (IMO) you will find more depth than most people can handle. These are the Verses. There is also a 5th secret verse most people have heard of but very few actually understand because they do not understand the "generation" we live in. When you combine these Verses into your And for most people, it is only in THIS place that you can connect directly with The Creator and transcend physicality. And the best part is that you are able to draw down this Love - because that is what you will feel - into our physical world and this Supernal Love will directly affect those around you. And so long as you stay out of any Ego or Arrogant state, these effects will be very positive. In other words, for greater results, be humble. Exodus (Shemot) - Chapter 20:2 ↟↟ I am the Lord your God. אָֽנֹכִ֨י יְהֹוָ֣ה אֱלֹהֶ֔יךָ In Hebrew, the word for I is "ah'nee" (אני) commonly spelt as Arni. However, the word for "I" in verse Chapter 20:2 is Anu'chi אָֽנֹכִ֨י and it was explained to me that one of the reasons for this was so that people would not assume that (אני) "I am god" and transfer their own arrogance to believe that THEY (themselves) were god. We have witnessed enough people thinking that they are "god" stupidity throughout history. TIP Du Jour When you meditate on the above verse, you need to also bear in mind the following verse to help placate your Hear, O Israel, Adonai is our God, Adonai is One. שְׁמַע יִשְׂרָאֵל יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ יְהוָה אֶחָד׃ The word "ONE" is specific in that it emphatically states that God is unity - in other words, everything is ** Note that you may sometimes see the words Adonai or HaShem or Elokim in reference to the יהוה name of God and in some instances, the word יהוה will be replaced by 2 yods like this יי. The word HaShem simply means "The Name" and is more commonly used in general reference to God but during prayers, the word most commonly used to refer to "God" is "Adonai" (The Lord). You could say that the word "HaShem" is a Zen oxymoron since it is a word that means "The Name" but it is not a name per se, and certainly not The name of The Creator HaShem is a name which represents a name which isn't a name which IF it was a name could not be said anyway. As explained above, worshiping "gods" and "idols" are of equal value when it comes to false worship, and idols includes - but is not limited to - vanity, ego, money, looks, possessions and other such temporary, distracting and fleetingly physical enamorments. When meditating on this verse, you need to have in your heart and mind a pure connection to something you cannot comprehend (even remotely) but can only be described as that which is beyond intelligent light filled with love. For those of us who have died and come back (in many cases), this light and feeling is indescribable. When I was doing regression hypnotherapy, I once asked one of my clients to describe this light. He said it would be easier for a blind man to play 18 holes of golf and hit a hole-in-one every time. If you want further reading on this subject, please consider these pages. WARNING, they will be a bit intense for some. Deuteronomy (Devarim) Chapter 6:5 This actually says that "and you HAVE loved the lord your God..." and while this is important from the perspective that you are recalling a previous event which means that the concept is not alien to you - so you know that it can be done and is true. However, some people mistranslate this into the present or future tense and then they lose the value of the words. While "Present Tense" is extremely important when you are saying וְאָהַבְתָּ אֵת יְהוָה אֱלֹהֶיךָ בְּכָל-לְבָבְךָ וּבְכָל-נַפְשְׁךָ וּבְכָל-מְאֹדֶךָ׃ What is actually says (in modern Hebrew) is ... And you have loved the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul and all your might.
The word "might" is the most common translation of Me'Od'dey'Cha. This has to be your 101% total focus. Psalm 27:4 ↟↟ One [thing] I ask of the Lord, that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to see the pleasantness of the Lord and to visit His Temple every morning. אַחַ֚ת שָׁאַ֣לְתִּי מֵֽאֵת-יְהֹוָה֘ אוֹתָ֪הּ אֲבַ֫קֵּ֥שׁ שִׁבְתִּ֣י בְּבֵֽית-יְ֖הֹוָה כָּל-יְמֵ֣י חַיַּ֑י לַֽחֲז֥וֹת בְּנֹֽעַם-יְ֜הֹוָ֗ה וּלְבַקֵּ֥ר בְּהֵיכָלֽוֹ I expound on this The 5th Verse ↟↟ Most people will not understand this but there are Spiritual Cycles, Galactic Cycles, Divine Cycles (like the Yugas) and within these Divine cycles, there are Human Cycles. Each of these "Human Cycles" consists of 1,000 "Generations" which may last from hundreds of years, to thousands of years or longer. Almost all of these "Generation Cycles" are destroyed because of what is called the "corruption of all flesh" (bad sex like the We are currently in the "Generation of Jacob" but we need to evolve spiritually to reach the "Generation of Israel" or else this planet will be reset as it has been done many many times in the past - think of all of the The prophecy about "A Star will rise in Jacob and a Scepter shall rise out of Israel" literally means a star. When Jacob prevails over the guardian angel of Esau, the angel assigns Jacob a new name as a signal of Jacob's new status. (Midrash Tanchuma) And he (the angel} said: "Your name shall no longer be Jacob, but Israel, for you have wrestled with the divine and with humans, and have prevailed." ( While this "prevailing" has transpired spiritually (see Only then, can Israel make aliyah to its proper place. This aliyah depends upon the actions and intent of the people and unless they "Do The Mitzvot properly", then it will not happen and the system will be reset. Do You Have Wisdom? ↟↟ For those with wisdom, if you contemplate these Verses, you will see that if you combine these Verses and meditate on them together, that this is a very easy path to finding Truth and it is only by finding Truth that you can truly see the path to the Creator. So how do I use these Verses (mantras)?
Firstly, you need to memorize these Verses. Then you need to start combining them into 1 multi-layered mantra. This combining helps placate your Next You need to understand that your mind and brain are capable of saying, and focusing on multiple mantras and visualizations at the same time. To start: Breath deeply and slowly. Exodus - Chapter 20:2 - Start by focusing beyond the light I describe above. Exodus - Chapter 20:3 - Next: Remove all thoughts of any other "entity", whether physical or ethereal from your mind. Next: combine Deuteronomy Chapter 6:5 and Psalm 27:4 together. Mentally visualize and project yourself to "This Place" you have just created in your mind. When I started doing this I would visualize a tiled floor which was floating in space and it was radiating golden light. Now I just viaualize myself floating in a golden light orb which then expands to fill the entire universe and any associated multi-verses. However - you can create your own special place from your room, a desert island, a waterfall or anything else you want. Remember: Keep your breathing deep and slow. For those who may still be distracted, please consider saying the The Secret ↟↟ The secret to the potency of this meditation technique is the actual silence - BUT - if you have an over active mind (like me), then saying the Alternatively ↟↟ If you are a "visual" person, you may like to start off using the "Tree of life" (aka: Simply visualize yourself climbing the tree of life from the bottom to the top and then moving on to the "invisible" circle ABOVE Keter. And yes, it actually exists, it is just not spoken about. It is sometimes referred to as the "Ruach HaKodesh" Sephirah (or Divine Spirit Sephirah).
