Please Note
I am not saying that I know everything about dying - I am not that arrogant - however I do have a few exceptional personal experiences ("After I Died") which qualify me above most other "normal" people.
Important Note
My experiences are just that, "my experiences" and they do not reflect the experiences of EVERYBODY else and this is because people create their own reality during life which then becomes their reality (for a while) when they die.
Many people stay and hang around this physical plane after they die.
I have personally witnessed people who hide in their bodies because they are afraid of going to where they should - mainly due to a lack of teachings and fear.
They try and stay connected to their physical bodies because they are afraid.
When you die, all of the good and bad things you have done is laid out in front of you and many people do not like what they see so they try and pretend that they can avoid confronting their next reality and the punishments most will face.
Ultimately they will have no choice but to continue over the black mountains.
- I was a regression hypnotherapist for many years.
- In May 2023 I died twice after tripping and smashing my head on the floor.
The Path ↟↟
I must point out 2 things here:
1) During hypnotic regression sessions, I need to point out that while many people had basic "bread and butter" experiences - like seeing the light, many other people were greeted by someone they loved or respected during their life.
This was usually an immediate family member or sometimes even a spouse or even a Guru or other religious teacher.
Some people related to "Nature" more than people and would see flowers, waterfalls, rivers, uninhabited islands, sandy beaches etc etc as their "conduit" between "here" and "there".
When I would ask about the Black Mountains, most people would shudder or get a feeling of dread when they looked at these Mountains.
That is because when you cross over these mountains, you do not come back to this life - unless you know the secret to the secret.
2) I personally have no fanciful desires for flowers, sandy beaches or other such locations. My own personal goal - since I was around 18 - has been to Know The Truth (where ever that takes me).
+ The only person I have ever loved is still alive.
This may explain why my "visions" showed me nothing but blackness every time I went to sleep for the first few weeks.
This was because I had No expectations, No beliefs and No illusions.
Another quick point is that back in 1987 I used to have 
Once I completely overcame my "fear" and learned to control my falling down, these dreams stopped.
My Dream Tests started again in 2023 and I had more in 2024 after my Near Death Experience. These were much more vivid and intricate.
I have also found that the reason people see loved ones, is in order for the older deceased person to help guide you between the living and after-life.
Many teaching discuss the "Fear" most people have when they die and this is again, because of propaganda they are taught by those who's main objective is control and domination.
I do find it interesting however that I could clearly see a black "path" through the "pitch blackness" leading to the Black Mountains - which I could also clearly see - and since I knew what these Mountains represent, I had no real ambition to go there.
Also, and even more importantly, I had NO fear of dying.
Evil people in this world do not have the luxury of no fear, because when they die, they quickly realize the evil they have done, and it is then that they know where they are headed.
And it isn't pretty.
The Black Mountains ↟↟
The Black Mountains is an event which (usually) happens after you see the light.
The reason that this is not mentioned very often is because by the time you get to the Black Mountains, it is too late to go back.
I would like to reiterate that I could also see the light but again, I had no ambitions of going there either.
For those of you who understand the significance of seeing "The Black Mountains" in the distance every time I went to sleep, just know that there is no fear if your heart is focused on The Creator.
I also suspect that "the" pitch blackness meant that my dying experiences were rather perfunctory since I was not distracted by extraneous thoughts or desires.
My After Death Experience
(This is the short version)
In May 2023 I fell over and smashed my head on the floor.
I remember hearing a loud popping sound like when you smash open a coconut, and then everything went black.
Next thing I remember was floating above my body looking down at myself and all of the blood on the floor around my head.
I remember thinking that my wife will not be happy with this mess.
I remember when my wife came home and the emotions on her face when she saw me laying on the floor. The second time I left my body was when her sister arrived and I saw them coming into the apartment together.
After a while, I remember waking up and agreeing with my wife that I needed an ambulance which she called and I was taken to the ER at a local hospital.
I was hospitalized immediately.
For almost 1 month I would sleep around 23 hours + a day and I was woken up for food and insulin 3 times a day and several other times for tests, and then back to sleep.
For many days (I did not count them) - I could not even eat my meals.
I was in hospital for over 2 months.
For over 3 weeks I was not even manually bathed or allowed to shower. I was later told that this was because all of the doctors who saw me agreed that I would die and they did not want to waste resources on me. Not even water.
The experiences I had are too many to list here but I have found a few 
Language After Death
What language will you speak after death?
Logically you will think that you will speak your current language but the problem is that you have NO air to push against your larynx (voice box) so you will not speak any language.
You may think in your own language but "How" do you communicate with anything around you?
Your Reality ↟↟
Your reality is created in your mind, and just like different languages around the world, and this language becomes your personal world and Universe.
Now imagine how many languages there are in the Universe?
Yet when all of these "people" die, there must be a common denominator for communication?
When you are dead, your method of communication " is ", it simply is. It is like you think it and it happens.
You ask a question and before you can finish formulating the question, you already have the answer.
This scenario will depend on your level of honesty as well - as I state many times throughout this site.
Important or Not Important
There is a "Place" you can get to in your meditation where all language becomes One.
This also applies to sounds made by animals, birds etc.
It is Important that you know this place exists because if you get to that place and you are not prepared for this "event", most people freak the heck out.
In fact, many people actually have this experience - even for a very short time - but they dismiss it as an illusion of some kind (like chance).
Why N.D.E.'s Are Different
Why are Near Death Experiences "so" different depending on the person telling the story?
There are 2 main reasons for this.
Your personal level of honesty
As a certified hypnotherapist, and someone who did a lot of regression work (past lives), there is one outstanding and obvious fact that quickly became apparent.
Apart from their own personal belief system, the experiences people were describing to me were a direct reflection of how much honesty and love that person had.
The more - internally - beautiful the person, the greater the experience.
The more Love projected by the person, the greater the experience.
People who were egotistical, arrogant, narcissistic, uncharitable, uncompassionate etc, never had highly spiritual experiences.
Conversely, the people who did project Love, charity, kindness and blessed others did have amazing experiences.
I could always tell the difference because the "good" people consistently described beyond-beautiful experiences - whereas the other people had basic and sometimes bizarre experiences.
For example, you could get 2 people to go to the exact same place and one would see beautiful flowers and the other would see a cow.
Or one would see indescribable colors while the second person would (basically) describe coal or the energy in their descriptions were lacking in vitality.
Regrets? ↟↟
One typical example was a person I regressed was describing how nasty they were in a previous life.
I asked them if they had any regrets.
They said "Yes", they regretted not changing while they could do so, before they died, and now they had to carry all of the negative Karma they had acquired from being so nasty and arrogant to "lesser" people.
Your personal belief system
Another "major" factor which affects what people experience after dying is what they believe while they are alive.
Your mind is a maze of false positives. You think the truth is what you think it is - because it is the truth your family or society told you is the truth.
However, looking in a mirror does not make the person you see, real.
Combined with my regression experiences, I had an epiphany while reading the Egyptian Book Of The Dead.

All of these ancient "religious texts" have a series of "what you can do" and "what you cannot do" rules.
What I came to realize is that while these "rules" appear as guidelines - like signposts - to supposedly guide you to a better spiritual existence. These are in fact false and designed to placate people who are alive.
In fact, they are all tests which keep people subjugated to the Laws Of Karma.

After I died and I was in hospital, I remember that every time I went back to sleep, I would see pitch black and bright lights waiting for me in the distance. Every time for over 3 weeks.

It is important that you know several extremely important FACTS.
Problem 1 - The Illusion
What you see, hear or experience after you die is purely based on what YOU believe while your are alive.
This applies across religions and ideologies.
THE problem is that everything you see (apart from the "light" is an illusion.
You are then "deprogramed", "judged" and sentenced according to any positive or negative Karmic debt you incurred in your previous "life".
This also includes any positive or negative Karma you incurred in any other previous "lives" as well.
Problem 2 - Interpretation Errors
This problem is endemic throughout our planet, so it is not isolated to 1 specific subject.
Perhaps the most flagrant violation of mis-interpretation is the translations of religious or even ancient texts often ascribe to the storeroom of Mythology.
What this means is that the therapist who is regressing the "Subject" (patient) may have personal or religious biases and the therapist will - and often does - interpret the "patients" experiences according to the therapist bias.
Problem 3 - Multi-Dimensional
The world you inhabit is very complex and when you die, the next level also very complex - as you would expect given the absolute magnitude and wisdom of The Creator.
When You Die
What Happens When You Die?
From my own personal experience (twice), I can tell you that when you die, your soul is laid bare and everything you say, do and think is exposed and everything you own is worthless and irrelevant.
After I Died "Everything" vanished - including (but not limited to) the entire world and universe, family, possessions, ego, arrogance, money, pride, food and even the air you breathe.
The only thing you take with you are your good and bad deeds (AKA Karma) - and if you are fortunate, you will also take the love you received and the love you gave while alive.
You have NO body, No genitals, No hands, No ethnic persuasion, No skin color, No "us or them" and No religion.
Just like when you turn a TV off - the movie of your physical life is terminated.
The lie about 72 virgins is something that only an uneducated pubescent male would believe.

It is important to understand that whatever you believe while you are alive, this is the reality that you create - BUT - this is an illusion.
Think about this for 2 seconds and you will quickly realize that not everything "everyone" believes can be real when they die. 1+1=2
Basically, after your adjustment period, you are reprogrammed and judged and depending upon your "life choices" you will be reassigned to another body - which may be human or animal - or worse.

This lifetime you may be a man but next lifetime, you may be a woman.
This lifetime you may be white, but next lifetime you may be Black or Asian etc.
Your soul cannot choose to return always as a male or as a female.
It is only ignorance propagated by dis-information which limits how a person grasps actual reality.
People who judge others on skin color show a great lack of intelligence - these people are very low on the scale of spiritual evolution.

Possibly the greatest annoyance I have with hypnotherapists is when they (most of them that I have met) do actually regress people, they finish their session by telling them that they will NOT remember anything they experienced.
WHAT the heck is the point of having a life altering session if you are told that you cannot remember it afterwards.
What a giant waste of time and money as well as evolutionary spiritual potential.
If you are going to get a regression session done, make sure that the hypnotherapist not only records the session but will IMMEDIATELY copy it and give you the second copy.
DO NOT have them post it to you so that this way they cannot edit the session - as I have heard that some do.
