Is Prophecy Real?
There is a word in ancient Greek which I am sure most of you have never heard of, it is called "Ekpyrosis".
Ekpyrosis is the periodic destruction of the Universe which does not make sense to us in 2026 and that is because most people do not understand 1 thing.
In ancient Greek the element of Fire) was called Πῦρ (pyr) and this is where the term "funeral pyre" comes from.
A "funeral pyre" is where the deceased is placed on a stack of wood and burned - we now call this cremation. 
To the ancient Greeks, this planet "WAS" their Universe and "if" this planet suffered massive destruction from celestial causes, then it was logically deducted that the rest of the Universe must also be suffering the same fate.
In their minds, Ekpyrosis was a real and ongoing danger.
According to Plato, the worst of these destructive celestial interventions occurred (and will occur) every 36,000 years, and this raises even more questions given the fact for him to make such a statement means that either he had access to the Akashic Records or he had knowledge passed down to him of recurring events for a lot more that 2 cycles of 36,000 years - or he just made it up.
Interestingly 6 x 6,000 == 36,000.

Why is this here?
Because if you have a reoccurring event, especially a destructive event - and some of the facts pertaining to this event like timing - are excluded from the information currently available to "us", then we have an incomplete or skewed version of what "may" (or will) happen again in the future - especially if it has been recorded as recurring multiple times previously.
This raises the possibility that "in this case", the word Prophecy is misused and the correct term should be statistics.
However, if the information was lost in history, then the possibility of a prophetic heavenly vision or visions would then be the only other way that these "potential" events could be claimed and recorded. This (prophetic heavenly vision business) would include those who visited the "Akashic Records" - and in some rare cases, someone who was 100% honest and died and came back (

This planet is a test planet where people are tested to the extreme in order for their souls to be elevated.

Islam Prophecy
Interestingly, Islam also has a prophecy about the False Messiah coming from the East and it is called "Al-Masih ad-Dajjal".

What makes this prophecy more interesting is that it is a recurring event which seems to happen every 60 +- years in China.

Yezidi Prophecy
Yezidi prophecies are primarily told through oral traditions, hymns (qawls), and the spiritual insights of Kocheks (seers) so they are very hard to define in written texts sine they basically do not exist in such form.
However, here is one prophecy which I think that you will find most fascinating especially if you are a regular watcher of the TV show Ancient Aliens.
