Remember that to these people, planets that reflected sunlight were also considered stars. Before we begin, I would like to point out the FACT that in 2026 we still "mostly" use the names of ancient "gods" to name our Solar System's planets and moons and also our days of the week. I list many of them below and you may be shocked when you realize just how many there are. This is commonly referred to as "Deification" (from the word deity or god). For those who are a bit strange (like me) who like reading ancient texts - please consider reading them through Astrological Eyes. When I was around 9 years of age (approx 58 years ago), my mother bought us many mythology (fairy stories) books from different countries including some "Dreamtime" books and one of the stories I remember reading was about 7 sisters who were chased by a man and they escaped by turning into stars (Pleiades) so then the hunter also turned himself into a constellation which we now call Orion. Google this: Osiris and Isis Osiris and Isis come from SAH (the Orion constellation) and then go to the "Cedars of Lebanon" (Pleiades) - Osiris is killed and Isis brings him back to life (eliptical return). This would imply that the "star" ISIS follows OSIRIS to the Pleiades. Osiris being "killed" implies that the light from this Sun appears to be extinguished as we would expect from the dust clouts associated with the intersecting of 2 Solar entities. This extinguished light fits in perfectly with the Japanese legend of the (Shinto) sun goddess "Amaterasu" hiding in a cave. Interestingly, in older legends, Isis had a sister called Nephthys (Nebthet) who was also black and was "associated" with Isis. Eagles or Vultures? In Genesis The (modern day) constellation Lyra is sometimes referred to as the "Vulture" constellation or more specifically, Vultur Cadens, meaning "Falling Vulture". This name is derived from its depiction on some star maps as a vulture or eagle carrying a lyre. A "lyre" is a small harp and in Hebrew, this is commonly referred to as a Kinnor. Consider rethinking the Egyptian goddess Sekhmet. Who Was Sekhmet? ↟↟

Like "Hathor", Sekhmet is often depicted with a red disk above her head - this is another hint to the fact that Sekhmet is actually a Red Dwarf sun. This far? If you go this far, I would like you to think about something. Go back in time a few thousand years and ask yourself HOW would you keep an oral record of an event which you (as a priest) needed to keep and maintain for the next time this event occured - and you also had to keep your "position" as a priest so that you could maintain the oral traditions of past and future events? The answer is simple, you create a "religion" and teach people the "basics" of your teachings and you maintain the hierarchical structure so that you can eat and continue to teach the next generation of initiates.
