Why Buy Talmud?

Back in the 1980's and 1990's, South Koreans were buying the Talmud not just for religious purposes, but because it helped make them smarter and think more legalistically when doing business.
I am not saying that this is why South Koreans are smarter than most people in business, but the Talmud obviously helped or else it would not have been a trend.
FYI: This trend of reading and studying The Talmud in South Korea continues to this day (circa 2026).

Some tractates have 2 volumes and different printers with combine some tractates and others will not combine them. Please double check.
My suggestions to get started - and remember that you need to have clean hands and reread these books many times and you will learn more as you go.
