Sugar Lowers Testosterone
Study: ↟↟
Oral glucose load and mixed meal feeding to determine lower testosterone levels in healthy eugonadal men. + + + + +
+ + + +
Results: ↟↟
Across pubertal stages, there was a significant decrease in T levels in adolescent boys (-18·6 ± 3·1%, P < 0·01) with no proportional differences between pre-early and mid-late puberty (P = 0·09).
Decrease in T was associated with a decrease in LH (r = 0·52, P = 0·02), and fasting T was inversely correlated with fasting ghrelin (r = -0·51, P = 0·03) with no correlation with GLP-1.
Summary: ↟↟
Intake of a mixed glucose/protein beverage acutely decreases T levels in overweight and obese peripubertal boys.
A potential mechanism for this decrease may be secondary to an acute decrease in LH, but this requires further evaluation.
Conclusions: ↟↟
Glucose ingestion induces a significant reduction in total and free T levels in men, which is similar across the spectrum of glucose tolerance.
This decrease in T appears to be because of a direct testicular defect, but the absence of compensatory changes in LH suggests an additional central component.
Men found to have low non-fasting T levels should be re-evaluated in the fasting state.

Sugar is a Mineral Antagonist
According to research "Sugar is a mineral antagonist" which means that it depletes (removes) Potassium, Magnesium, Chromium and many other Trace Minerals from your body (plus Vitamin D) potentially leaving you vulnerable to cramps, stroke and heart attacks.
In fact, it is very well documented that sugar is highly dangerous to human health. + +
There are over 50 diseases directly related to sugar ingestion.
Viruses ↟↟
For those concerned about Viruses etc, you should note that Bacteria and Viruses "feed" on sugar - directly and indirecty.
Viruses do not actively "feed" on sugar "directly" because they are not living organisms and lack their own metabolism.
However...
Viruses hijack host cells and force them to consume more sugar, creating a sugar-rich environment that fuels viral replication and spreads infection throughout the body. + +
Sugar also creates a more conducive environment for both Bacteria and Viruses by making the body more acidic.
You may be able to help neutralize this acidity by taking 1/4 or 1/2 teaspoon of Baking Soda (Sodium Bi-carbonate) at night before bed (and at least 2 - 3 hours after eating).
Sugar is also a Vitamin C antagonist. ↟↟
In the 1970's Dr. Linus Pauling (one of the greatest researchers in the field of microbiology) discovered that vitamin C helps the body to combat the common cold. + + + + + +
As part of the same research, Dr. Pauling found that sugar severely slows down this same healing process.
Depending upon the amount of sugar ingested, it has the potential to reduce your body's defenses (Vitamin C) by 75% + or more for 8 hours or longer. + + + + + + +
Consider the health damage to people who drink several soda's (soft drinks) - or more - a day.
According to a 1973 study done by Loma Linda University, when you ingest over 20 grams of sugar - as much sugar (+ -) as you find in the average "coke" soda (soft drink) - your white blood Cells are 40 percent less effective at killing germs.
According to in his book, Doctor's Book Of Natural Cures, you can temporarily cripple your immune system for up to 5 - 6 hours after drinking an average can of soda (soft drink). Glucose, fructose and sucrose all significantly decreased the activity of neutrophils to fight bacteria.
This is why people with diabetes usually end up with sores or wounds that do not heal and they are at the highest risk of (usually) leg or associated "amputation".
If you legs or feet are turning black from what-ever reason, try 2 things:
- STOP all sugar and carbs and go on a protein only diet (for a start) **
- Buy and take L-Arginine (amino acid) PLUS L-Citrulline at least 1 heaped teaspoon twice a day with meals. (this is what I did)
L-Arginine PLUS L-Citrulline combine to help the body create Nitric Oxide which increases blood flow and stops black foot and leg pain (in most cases).
This is the formula that I eventually came up with - it has allowed me to walk more than 500 meters (yards) and to have a better quality of life while my body slowly heals.
Double bonded magnesium, Creatine for kidney health, Nitric Oxide, Mixed Berry because I like the flavor, L-Citrulline + L-Arginine and all of these are powders which I mix in a 2 liter bottle and then store in a sealed glass container.
- Magnesium Bisglycinate Powder, 8 oz (227 g)
- Creatine Monohydrate, Unflavored, 1 lb (454 g)
- Nitric Oxide, Mixed Berry , 8.8 oz (250 g)
- L-Citrulline, Pure Powder, 4 oz (113 g)
- L-Arginine Powder, 1 lb (454 g)
** You also need to walk 2Kms (1 mile) a day to help stimulate your Cells to burn glucose.
Gymnema: WARNING:
I make a Gymnema "tincture" at a ratio of 3:1 (3 x 40% ABV Vodka - to - 1 herb) and I take 40 mls (de-alcoholed) with each meal - AND this only reduces my blood sugar level by approx 30-40 points.
The optimum blood sugar level (for healthy people) is between 90 - 110 if you want your body to heal.
WARNING: too much insulin can kill you so you need to keep a strict diary of the foods you eat and the amount of blood sugar each food item creates.
I will write more about this later is anyone is interested.
"Neutrophils" (not the movie) are the "first responders" of white blood Cells when you are attacked by invading viruses and bacteria.
Common Sources of Sugar
The "most common" different kinds of sugar and their sources:
- Fructose is fruit sugar and is found in fruit.
- Lactose is milk sugar and is found in milk.
- Dextrose is made synthetically from starch and is called "corn sugar."
- Maltose is malt sugar and is found in germinating grains. You will find it in malted milkshakes and malted candy.
- Sucrose is refined sugar or table sugar made from sugar cane and sugar beet (and almost all sugar beets are genetically modified which makes the sugar even more dangerous).
Here is a list of the most common food and drink sources for different types of carbohydrates.
Monosaccharides ↟↟
Monosaccharides are the simplest sugars and the fundamental building blocks of all carbohydrates. +
They are single sugar molecules that are made up of carbon atoms, hydrogen atoms, and hydroxyl groups, and can also contain an aldehyde or ketone group.
The general structure of a monosaccharide is (HCOH)n, which is where the name "carbohydrate" comes from.

- Potato, corn
- Small amounts in other root vegetables and unripe fruit
Non-starch polysaccharides
- Vegetables, fruit
- Wholegrain cereals
- Pulses
Diseases Associated With Sugar
- Sugar is more addictive and harmful than cocaine - in fact it stimulates massive dopamine production in the brain.
- Sugar causes Obesity - Sugar actually makes you fat - Did you know that? Contrary to the information you will read even on supposedly "credible" websites stating that there is No Conclusive proof that sugar causes obesity, it is common medical knowledge that excess sugar IS converted to fat and stored in the body AS fat.
+ + excess glucose is stored as fat + +
- Sugar causes Tooth decay. You do not need to be a rocket scientist to know this.
+
- Sugar causes Brain fog.

- Just 8 grams of Sugar STOPS Vitamin C absorption by the body for up to 6 hours. So sugar for breakfast, sugar for lunch, sugar for your evening meal, plus sugar in your coffee and tea during the day hardly (if at all) gives your body a chance to heal itself (Vitamin C).
+
- Sugar has been linked to be a major causal effect of bone diseases like Osteoporosis and Osteoarthritis.
- Sugar Feeds Candida - this leads to memory loss, over eating, obesity etc and Candida also stops vital Minerals being absorbed by the body. Candida also floods your body with a toxic by-product called acetaldehyde. Acetaldehyde produces similar symptoms to a hangover from alcohol.
- Sugar causes acidification of the blood and thus the body itself, which has a knock on effect of decreasing bone density.
- Sugar impedes memory functionality.
+ +
- Sugar is the primary cause of Pre-Diabetes, Type 2 Diabetes and Type 2 Diabetes.
- Sugar causes your liver to dump harmful fats into your blood stream.
- Sugar causes fat build up around your heart which has often been linked to heart attacks - sometimes by restricting the hearts ability to pump effectively.
+
- Sugar raises your risk of Heart attack - it removes magnesium & potassium and other valuable Minerals.
- Sugar LOWERS Libido - Sugar LOWERS Libido.
+
- Sugar affects your sleep.
+ +
- Sugar affects your work.

- Sugar causes sugar "brain" Highs.
- Sugar causes sugar "brain" crashes.
- Vitamin C Vs Glucose Notice anything? Why does glucose compete with Vitamin C?
-
- Sugar makes many kids Hyperactive (especially if combined with the artificial colors, Red or Green) causing many parents to put their kids on soul destroying drugs like Ritalin (Methylphenidate) etc. NOTE: There are "reports" of studies saying that sugar does not make kids hyperactive but try telling that to parents of small children that have become addicted to sugar. And what they do not tell you in most of these studies is the "methods" used and what was included and what was excluded. They also do not admit to - or explain - their "Cherry Picking" methods either.
Many manufacturers tell us that sugar is made from a "natural" source (sugar cane and sugar beets) so it's OK.
But, heroin, opium, vegetable oils, and every other poison or toxin on this planet etc are also made from "natural" sources - and yet all of these "natural" things are processed into something dangerous to our health.
In 2015–2016, 45.8% of the U.S. population used prescription drugs in any given 30 day period. Prescription drug use increased with age, with 18.0% of children under age 12 years on prescription medications. Source: CDC.gov (2015 - 2016) + in 2017
- CALCIUM combined with Sugar is a leading cause of Atherosclerosis (calcification of your arteries). Please read this book The Calcium Lie

- Sugar is a primary cause of Gout.
+ + + + + + + + + + + + +
- Excessive sugar ingestion makes most people constipated. It feeds the wrong bacteria (like Candida).
+
- Sugar is associated with dandruff. Vegetable oils are THE #1 cause of dandruff and other skin problems.
- SUGAR COMA - Too much sugar can actually cause a SUGAR COMA (AKA: Diabetic coma) - Google SUGAR COMA to see what that means.
- Sugar overloads your liver thereby putting the rest of your health at higher risk.

- Sugar has been proven to actually give you many different cancers and other diseases. (Royal Raymond RIFE & Dr Arthur Kendall)
- Sugar has been shown to FEED many different cancers and other diseases.
- Sugar affects hormones. As we get older, our body starts making less of some hormones, including the human growth hormone (HGH). Women will create less estrogen and progesterone, and men often produce less of the sex hormone testosterone. HGH is important for younger looking skin.
+
- Sugar is primarily responsible for rips and tears in the arteries (by blocking Vitamin C from entering the body thereby reducing the body's ability to heal itself). Please read this book The Calcium Lie

- Sugar causes memory problems (often severe memory problems) including links to Alzheimer's.

- Sugar is linked to adrenal fatigue.
- Sugar raises the level of neurotransmitters called serotonin. Prolonged and excessive amounts of Serotonin are often associated with "burn out" syndrome whereby the person can feel like they are flying for several years after which they crash and burn - a common example is taxi or Inter-state drivers or with young computer programmers (or basically anyone who works intensely for 12 - 16+ hours a day).
+
- Sugar is linked to joint problems like arthritis, osteoarthritis, gout, osteoporosis and more. Please read this info on Boron.
+ +
- Sugar has recently been proven to increase aging.
+
- Sugar is also linked to the body's manufacture of (too much) hydrogen peroxide which in turn affects the roots of the hair follicle which causes the loss of hair color.
+ +
- An interesting study back in the 1970's showed that ingesting more than 6 grams of sugar at once caused the subjects to become less cognizant (become more stupid). The more sugar ingested, the less cognizant (stupider) the subjects became and this "mental dissociation" increased with older test subjects (older people).
+ + + Google this "Sugar Makes You Stupid"
- Sugar is linked to affecting eyesight performance. Glaucoma and Macular degeneration are often associated with diabetes.
and + +
- Sugar disrupts Leptin resistance (A 2008 study found that excess fructose consumption was linked to an increase in a condition called leptin resistance. Leptin is a hormone that tells you when you've had enough food.) This makes people think that they are still hungry and they eat more thereby putting on extra weight.
+ +
- Sugar is often associated with mood swings, sometimes severe mood swings, especially in children. (adults)
+ + + kids +
- Polydipsia is a medical name for the feeling of extreme or persistent thirstiness. Sugar also causes many people to drink excessive amounts of water (usually cold water) in an attempt by the body to remove the excessive amounts of sugar / glucose. For example: in people with diabetes, polydipsia is caused by increased blood glucose levels. When blood glucose levels get high, your kidneys produce more urine in an effort to remove the extra glucose from your body. To produce more urine, your kidneys need more water. QED.
- Polyuria is defined as the frequent passage of large volumes of urine - more than 3 liters (7 pints approx) a day compared to the normal daily urine output in adults of about 1 to 2 liters. Polyuria is caused by Polydipsia. Because of this Polydipsia, you will experience frequent Peeing during the day and at night because your body is trying to get rid of excess sugar. To do this, your body needs to drink excessive amounts of water during the day. DO NOT drink Soft Drinks (Soda's) as this will only add more sugar to your already overloaded body.
+ +
- Rectal Bleeding is often a by-product of constipation and this bleeding leads to Iron and mineral loss which is commonly associated with tiredness and fatigue (as many women who have heavy periods can confirm) - this is because without enough iron, red blood Cells can't carry enough oxygen to body tissues.
- Did you know that many people who suffer from Itchy Ears, find that after they have had a jolt of sugar, that the itch in their ears flares up?
- Did you know that for most people, eating any amount of Sugar exacerbates Tinnitus? Try this: STOP ALL sugar for 4 weeks, and notice how your tinnitus decreases?
- Did you know that when too much Sugar is ingested in a short time span, it can actually cause headaches, and even migraines?
+
- SUGAR CRAVINGS can be suppressed if you start eating "Mixed" Fermented Vegetables. These fermented vegetables should be made by yourself using SEA SALT and NEVER Table salt (Table salt is toxic - REMEMBER:: Table salt is toxic). Ideally, you should start off eating a small amount the first day - for example - just 2 tablespoons of fermented vegetables on day 1 and then doubling this every day for 7 days. This is because most people are not used to eating fermented vegetables and they need time for their bodies to build up a tolerance. You can easily make your own.
Fermented vegetables have also been shown to be highly beneficial in reducing cognitive decline. +
So that I know that there is NO added sugar or other weird elements, I make my own mixed vegetables in a 30 liter (8.25 gallon) drum.
This volume of fermented vegetables lasts our family about 4 - 6 weeks.
TIP: Never add too much salt.
There is much scientific evidence documenting the probiotics potential health effect on gut microbiota ecosystems in relation to brain function. The evidence indicates the potential of fermented foods as functional foods for the brain and cognitive health promotion.
Want to make your own Fermented Vegetables? ↟↟

- The Sugar V's Fat Lie? Did you know that the American "Sugar Research Foundation" (now called the American Sugar Association) actually paid at least three Harvard scientists around $5,000 each in the 1960's to LIE when they published a 1967 review of research on sugar, fat and heart disease to change the cause from Sugar to Fat approx $5,000 to be complicit in the murder of and degeneration of the health of BILLIONS of people. - Sugar has been associated with causing Anxiety and Depression and this may be directly related to the way that sugar causes the body to expel magnesium and other vital Minerals.
+
- Bacteria and Viruses thrive on sugar. It's their source of energy. So consuming sweet snacks when you're sick can often make you feel worse.
- NAFLD: Sugar depletes Vitamin D. Multiple studies have shown that Vitamin D depletion increases "non-alcoholic fatty liver disease" (NAFLD) induced by fructose, and that vitamin D plays a crucial role in reducing inflammation caused by high-fructose diets. One of the things associated with NAFLD is nerve damage. Catalase and natural Glutathione can help many people. TIP: If you get Catalase, make sure that it is the Maltodextrin Catalase and not the Glucose (sugar) Catalase. Some manufacturers are known to BOOST the package weight by adding extra sugar which is heavier than the powder.
+ +
- Sugar is associated with the removal of Vitamin D from the body.
+
- Sugar contains NO essential nutrients.

Probiotics Offset Sugar Cravings
Did you know that Probiotics Help Offset Sugar Cravings?
Probiotics are fermented vegetables which you can (and should) make yourself.
Probiotics are easy to make, just get a few large containers and cut your mixed vegetables very small, then add water and SEA salt.
Wait several weeks and then start eating. #52
Common Pre-Biotics
Prebiotics are functional foods with health-promoting properties that are promoted in many developed countries.
Pre-Biotics "feed" probiotics which enhances their health potency.
BTW: It is important to clarify that while ripe bananas have a small amount of prebiotic fiber, it is the greener unripe bananas that have the most prebiotics. These may be eaten raw or slightly cooked or even caramelized.
The benefits of prebiotic foods and resistant starch go far beyond simple gut health and have been shown to aid the increase of insulin sensitivity and protection from type 2 diabetes, as well as brain and eye health.
Some common PreBiotics ↟↟
Note: It is important to note that most of these only have between 1% - 3% prebiotics and that they are NOT 100% all prebiotics.
- Apples
- Asparagus
- Bananas
- Cabbage
- Chicory Root
- Cocoa Powder
- Coconut Flour
- Coconuts
- Dandelion Root
- Flaxseed
- Garlic
- Inulin
- Jerusalem Artichoke
