Reiki
Reiki is a healing technique based on the principle that the therapist can channel energy into the patient by means of light by visualized projection.
Reiki is a manifestation of your own energies which are symbiotically connected to Universal energies. Some say God Energy.
This activated energy is then "channeled" via your mind and body into another person or animal with the projected thought of healing.
The energy you project will reflect your honesty level - Pro Rata.
In Japanese, the word Rei (霊) Ki (気) literally means "spirit" or "soul" + "energy".
The word Ki is the sushi sized equivalent of the Chinese word "Chi" (obviously spelt in English).
Chi in Big5 (氣) or Pinyin (气) which symbolises steam or gas which represents the intangible energy from something tangible.
There are 5 main Chakra healing methods I was taught by using Reiki.
1. Personal Healing ↟↟
Sometimes called Self Healing Reiki.
Self Healing Reiki is best performed by doing QiGong (TaiChi) exercises.
This involves coordinating both physical movement and visualization exercises.
Alternatively, you can also do meditation and visualization exercises.
2. Hands On Healing ↟↟
NOTE: This is an advance healing method and it may take months or even years to be able to do this correctly.
Hands On Healing of others works like this.
First you must also be proficient in meditation and especially Chakra meditation.
For your own psychic protection, you must create a "White Light" around your body, and this White Light must emanate from within your body and radiate out at least 18 inches (45 cms) and up to 3 feet or 1 meter, and, it must be created mentally by you purely for the sake of self defense against any psychic attacks which "may" (and do) occur.
Your body Must Be clean (if you go to the toilet, then you need to shower before doing this method)
Your Hands must be clean so you need to wash them after each "session" and / or IF you touch anything.
Cold water (no soap) is OK since you are washing off the energy from the previous person.
Why wash your hands?
Because the hands are a conduit for spiritual energy so this conduit must be as clean as 
Hands-on Healing is where the "practicioner" hovers their hands above the "recipient" and projects light into their body.
You should note that a good practicioner will "literally see" - via their hands - patches or light and dark on the recipients body.
** A Really good practicioner with anatomical knowledge will even know the names of the "affected" body part or parts.
Note: I was taught to never "touch: the person - sut some people do.
Touching or bumping can be disturbing especially if it is a male touching a female and extra especially if you accidently - or other - bump things you should not bump.
3. 3rd Eye Reiki ↟↟
3rd Eye Reiki healing is where the practicioner will project light out via their 3rd eye and into the recipient.
Note that this is a very advanced method and typically requires years of training in conventional Reiki before trying the 3rd eye method.
4. Distance Reiki ↟↟
Distance Reiki is where the healer can "project" healing to others regardless of where they are on this planet.

Asking you questions is OK, but engaging you in gossip or aimless conversation is very unprofessional.
Remember, No Thoughts ↟↟
There should only be 1 thing in your mind when doing Chakra Healing and that is the transference of light into the subject whether by hands or by the 3rd eye.
This is NOT a thought process per se, it is a state of being.
This should be an automatic reflex like driving a car or making coffee. You simply "do" and you don't think about every action or reaction as they occur.

Total healing "Session Time" should be limited to between 10-15 minutes and one of the main reasons for this is that most people cannot focus on a fixed point for very long.
Alternatively, if you wish to have longer sessions, I suggest that you take a 20-30 second break between each targeted Chakra.
I have found that focusing on one Chakra for 2 minutes, then washing my hands in cold water (NO soap), and then moving onto the next Chakra is good for me and the person I am working on.
This can easily bring you up to 20+ minute "Sessions" so the person feels like they are getting better value.
Sometimes I focus on one or more specific Chakras for longer depending on what energy I feel coming off the other person.
PLEASE NOTE: There is no need for them to remove clothing. Perhaps a jacket or coat but never their shirt or pants or dress.
When you are doing Hands On Healing or Third Eye Healing, you must have a clear mind.
This means NO thoughts except 1 and No distractions (*-especially talking-*).
The single thought you have must be the projection of light via your hands and into the person in front of you.
NOTE: If you are genuine, you will NOT talk with your "subject" while doing this method.
As soon as you start gasbagging you have lost the 100% connection and thus you are no longer healing that person at maximum potential, but you are now projecting your gossipy thoughts into them.
REMEMBER ↟↟
If you want the best results, then this healing method must truly be done with an empty mind.
It works like this, [a generalized overview].
If your mind is completely blank, then you can be a conduit for a more pure energy, this will also depend on how honest or dishonest you are.
The Law Of Attraction
The simple version is this, "What you put out is what you get back".
- If you are 100% honest, then the energy you get through will be 100% honest. The purity and benefits of the energy you project will be entirely dependent upon the purity of your heart.
- If you are thinking about "other" things - especially negative thoughts like sex, stress, money or gossip etc - then your focus will be tainted and the energy you project will be diminished and possibly even detrimental.
- IF you have a pure heart, then the energy you get through will be pure.
I have met people with a pure heart and the one thing they have in common is that they are not interested in the mundane of physicality.

A Technique To Locate Problem Areas?
This is done by eliciting feedback from the person by using your hands.
The reason you use your hands, is because most of the time, people do not know (1) what the exact problem is (2) the exact location of the source of the problem (3) if it is compounded by other causes / issues / problems.
Also, you need to know how to identify problems, their cause/s and any associated issues (if they exist) and the only way you can learn how to do this is by practice.
Place your hands about 6 - 8 inches (15 - 20 cms) above the person.
You do NOT need to physically touch them. In FACT, I strongly suggest that you absolutely do not touch them physically at all.
Slowly run your hands over the person until you feel "dark energy" spots.
When you start connecting with the person, you will notice slight pressure OR light tingling sensations in your hands.
When this happens, ask the universe for help and what these "contacts" mean.
Asking The Universe (The Akashic Mind) for answers will initially take some time and this will take longer if you are a skeptical, negative or nasty person.
BIG TIP ↟↟
Do not give the universe a name. You may be right - but you are more likely wrong. Where-ever you grow up, the dominant religion is "usually" the one most people follow. They cannot all be right.
I was once told about a (1) song which had no words, [2] a breath which included all breaths and {3} a divine name which is only knowable from within your heart.
Meditate on this if you want to find profound wisdom.

If you want to be a healer, it will help greatly if you have a very good understanding of Human Anatomy.

Remember that women have "breasts" so please keep your eyes open while doing the scanning with your hands, so that you do not "bump" anything you shouldn't. This is respecting a woman's space.
Once you have determined where the dark energy spots are, then you can discuss with your subject what you have found.
When you are ready to proceed, place yourself in a deep meditative state (similar to a self hypnotic trance) and then begin the healing light projection.
You should be visualizing a specific light color coming out of your hands and into the subject. This light color should be used to focus on and target the applicable Chakra of your subject.
Hover over each Chakra for 1 - 2 minutes only.
Once you get good at this "hovering" detection method, you will feel which Chakras are weaker and direct your focus at these.

Once you are good at this "hovering" detection, you will be able to "scan" the other Chakras and literally see which other Chakras need reinforcing.
I found it easier to work on people while they were laying down - face first on a 
This allows you to work on people from a regulated distance.
Also Remember that women have breasts, so having several support cushions available is a polite consideration.
* Suggestion: use a clean fresh towel to cover the cushions for each person. Again no fragrance.
Third Eye Healing is exactly the same as Hands On Healing except this time you use the 3rd Eye as the source of directing the (Chakra related) energy color into the subject.
This means that you should visualize the applicable color to the corresponding chakra area - for best results.
Sometimes, white light is needed for an overall balance - but as you get more experienced, you will learn when to do this.

- Get the subject comfortably set up on the massage table
- Using your hands **, locate the target - dark energy - areas which need help
- Discuss - if required - with the subject anything which may be important - See example **** just below
- Project specific colored applicable light from your hands or third eye (forehead) into the subject and visualize this light to the affected area.
Clear your mind of all extraneous thoughts.
This directed focus of a specific Chakra color can also be done by focusing light energy from your third eye - into their third eye and then you visually direct the light down (or up) to the applicable Chakra.
Discuss with subject especially if you are working around sensitive areas of their body, especially women. It is simply a polite gesture.
| A lady I had to work on, had a problem with her uterus (endometriosis), so I explained that I would be using my hands and that they would be hovering over her private parts and I also explained that at NO time would I be touching her body. **** The reason you use your hands to do this is so that you can feel connected to the subject and in most cases, they will feel a reciprocal connection with you as you pass over certain areas. Often this is a warm sensation or a tingling feeling.
When you get really good at doing this, you will see "dark patches" on the body as your hands pass over certain areas.
When you get really really good, you will start getting feedback specifically about which part of the body is negatively affected.

Is Chakra Healing The Same As Reiki?
Note: Reiki "typically" projects white light while Chakra Healing projects the light of specific Chakra colors at Chakra applicable parts of the body + white light when applicable.
According to the Oxford Dictionary which is wrong:

This is factually wrong. There is NO "by means of touching" the "patient" or subject. In fact the "patient" should never be touched - at all - unless you are helping them sit up or lay down on the

There is an interesting surge of interest by hospitals in the US, Australia, UK and other parts of the world to allow Reiki to patients - often with amazing results.
Can I Project White Light As Well?
Yes
You should not fart in your healing room for at least 2 reasons.
a) Smell is distractive
b) farts carry the energy of excrement (crap) and this is not spiritually conducive to positive energy results.
Remember that you should create an area of holiness, so farting is not welcome.
Can I have plants in the room?
Absolutely - so long as they DO NOT have any fragrance as this can be distracting if too strong.
Place the plants around you starting from at least 2 meters or 6 feet from where you are sitting.
I would also recommend that you used organic soil and DO NOT use commercial fertilizers with N.P.K. This will give you healthier plants.
IMPORTANT: Also - as a precaution - remember that at night, most plants stop converting CO2 into Oxygen - so please choose your plants well, do research before you buy. 
You cannot call the subject or person a Patient unless you are medically qualified to do so.
What Are the Chakra Colors?
There are 7 "Primary" Chakra centers and each has a different color.
Here are the chakra colors in order from top to bottom.
You may notice that they are similar to the colors of the rainbow and together - when unified - they form white light.
The Sacral region (sacrum) is near the bottom of the spine and lies between the fifth segment of the lumbar spine (L5) and the coccyx (tailbone).

To be completely honest with you, the colors below are a very basic One Dimensional representation only.
The actual Chakras are translucent luminescent "objects" which radiate beautiful intelligent pulsating iridescent light.

If you want to do high level spiritual meditation, then you will need to stop using music, bowls and anything else which makes a noise.

How To Do Reiki
Reiki is part physical, part mental, part spiritual and part energy.
However, THE most important aspect of healing is the honesty / truth level of the practitioner.
The greater your honesty, the greater the potential healing "gift" you will have.
This is one of a number of techniques to "activate" your Reiki Healing energy.
First - Visualization ↟↟
Sit comfortably and meditate on 
Next, visualize Earth Energy coming up from the ground and also flowing up to your Solar Plexus.
Second - Activate The Flow ↟↟
Before you start, you need to ask permission from the other person if you can open their Chakras.
When they agree, then you should visualize this happening.
Now you need to visualize this Golden Fire flowing out from your Solar Plexus and down along your arms and into your hands.
Place your hands so that they are facing the other person and DO NOT touch the other person.
Your hands should be approximately 4 - 5 inches (6 - 10 cms) away from the other persons body.
Third - The Connection ↟↟
The next step is to project this energy out of your hands in see it flowing into the other person.
If you have done this right so far, you should start to feel tingling or warmth in your hands.
Fourth - Location ↟↟
What we are going to do next requires a lot of focus and a clear mind.
You are going to do 2 things.
- Locate the source of their problem.
- Focus either white light or the applicable Chakra color (as shown above) towards the source of their health issue.
I like to use color where applicable because I see the problem area as white and then I see myself filling that area up with color until it is full.
Next - X-Ray ↟↟
There is a saying in sales that "you should sell the first thing first".
The same applies with Reiki.
Focus on and heal the main issue the person has.
... And then you need to visualize the body as see-through glass, and start looking for any other dark energy spots.
Sometimes there are other dark spots and sometimes there are none.
Sometimes these dark spots are associated with the issue the person has, and sometimes they are not associated.
Closing - When you have finished transferring the energy to the other person, you need to CLOSE their Chakras. This is very important. ↟↟
In fact, you should get them to visualize doing this with you.
Finally - Short Healing Prayer ↟↟
I was taught that after I had finished everything, that I needed to say a short healing prayer over the the other person which goes like this.
"May The Creator bless you with Love and heal you and protect you from harm. Amen."
You should keep this simple and short - there is no need to bless all of the animals on their farm.
In fact, you will encounter a few people who will not even like you saying a prayer over them - so from my experience, I have found it safer to keep the prayer neutral.
