Just in case you still think we have nothing to worry about in the near future.
An Irish priest called Saint Malachy (1094-1148)

This "list" was purportedly written down in 1595 CE and was apparently very accurate up until that time (circa 1590) after which there appeared some potholes in the predictions.
NOTE: Given the reluctance of the catholic church to be transparent regarding the predictions (prophecies) from the "Our Lady of Fatima" 1917 appearance in Fatima, Portugal, I find it highly acceptable - based on the history of many things in the catholic church which they changed or edited - that the prophecies of Saint Malachy were also edited.
Constantinople was captured on 29 May 1453 by the Ottoman Army led by 21-year-old Sultan Mehmed II.
What is interesting about the fall of Constantinople is that they sent ships to Rome requesting help to defend the city as it was the bastion of Christianity.
Rome declined to assist and Constantinople fell to the Muslims.
And what a coincidence, the power of Christianity then became controlled by Rome.
+ This is the same Rome that crucified Jesus and then told everyone that the Jews did it. This lie was rampant when I was growing up.
According to the New Testament, Jesus was crucified by Roman soldiers, specifically under the order of a Roman governor named Pontius Pilate.
Then there was the removal of most of the books "of the bible" in favor of 4 books "because there were 4 cardinal points".
I have a much bigger list of lies - but this will do to emphasise my point.
So as you can see - in my eyes - they do not have a good track record.
Saint Malachy's "pope list" came to modern prominence in September 1978 when the predicted "Luna Pope" John Paul I
For those who do not understand this, the "Luna Month" us approx 28 days and the
- Thirty days hath September
- April, June, and November
- All the rest have thirty-one
- Except February which has twenty-eight
- And twenty-nine every leap year
** A "Leap Year" happens every 4 years.
The Last Pope ↟↟
The last pope is predicted to be Peter the Roman and is also referred to as the Black Pope who will facilitate the destruction of the Catholic church.
Important Note is that the Black Pope does not necessarily mean that he will be dark skinned because there is a Jesuit sect where the leader is also called the
In persecutione extrema S.R.E. sedebit. Petrus Romanus, qui pascet oves in multis tribulationibus, quibus transactis civitas septicollis diruetur, & judex tremendus judicabit populum suum. Finis.
This may be translated into English thus:
In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church, there will sit [i.e., as bishop]. Peter the Roman, who will pasture his sheep in many tribulations, and when these things are finished, the city of seven hills [i.e. Rome] will be destroyed, and the dreadful judge[a] will judge his people. The End.[17]
