Top What Are Madrigot?

In modern Hebrew the word Madrigot {מַדְרֵגוֹת} typically refers to stairs but this comes from a much older word based in Kabbalah which is associated with the "Levels" of Creation itself.

In Kabbalah it refers to the "Light" (or essence) of The Creator having to "filter" itself so that Physicality per se can exist.

Filtered Light ↟↟

In Kabbalah it is taught that when the Creator wanted to create mankind (humans), first, there had to be a filter placed between The Creator and "us".

However, this filter was not just 1 filter - each rung of "Jacobs Ladder" represented a barrier between 1 level and the next level - and it shows the angels going up and down between these filtered levels.

The "Madrigot" image on the right is a "Visual" representation only.

Us

So in the actual beginning, there was the Light of The Creator and then this light had to be filtered and this "filter" was called 3 names and the Light below the "first" filter was called DAY ONE.

This in NO way claims that this represents the only or ultimate structure of creation.

It does however, create the first "steps" for our level (universe if you like), of creation and again, it does NOT imply that there is any limit to what is above this beginning as described in Genesis Chapter 1.

First the filter was called (הַחֹשֶׁךְ) The HoshecH (darkness) and then it was called (לָיְלָה) Lailah (night) and then it was called (עֶרֶב) Erev (evening).

So the Zen question "du jour" would be, do these 3 "gradients" apply to all of the other days, or just Day 1?

Because if it only applies to Day 1, then that may suggest that there are 10 levels separating The Creator and "us".

But IF these 3 apply to every "Day of Creation", then the creation of Creation is far more complex than we can possibly imagine.

This is the extremely short version on this subject.

Something to ponder. But for now, we will stick with the 7 levels.

But the Day 1 light was still too strong - so this light had to be filtered again, Second Day and then Third Day, Fourth Day, Fifth Day, Sixth Day and then the 7th Day.

Did anyone notice the difference between DAY 1 and the other 6 days?

The 7th day (Yom Shevi'ee) was sanctified by the 8th day which is a day of holiness and She is called "Shabbat".

This is why on Friday evening the song is sung to welcome the Shabbat Bride.

Shabbat is the "realm" of stillness and silence but not like your concept of silence.

It exists in the place of the

The "place" between places and the "IS" in is.

In Between Levels ↟↟

So each level is a "part" of The Creator - but literally in "reduced" magnitude.

This does NOT mean that there are multiple "Gods", what it means is that the same "entity" is simply reduced in magnitude so that the level below can exist.

Think of it like Electricity generated at (for example) a hydroelectric station, which must then flow through multiple substations before it reaches us.

Each substations may need to "transform" this voltage rate up or down depending upon local requirements at the time they are needed the most. (Peak hours in the AM and PM for example).

In some cases, it may need to be "Stepped Up" and in other cases, (or times), it may need to be "Stepped Down".

From one aspect, you could think of it like putting a filter on a camera lens or using "filters" on photoshop - the source is the same, but the output changes as you apply each new filter.

Shema

This is the meaning of the words, "Shema Israel, Adonai Elohenu, Adonai Ehad".

Listen Israel, the Lord is our God, the Lord is One - which means that everything is part of The One and there is no separation.

Just as your head is "different" from your feet and yet it is still the One body.

Top Why Are Madrigot Important?

Madrigot are important because most people think that there is some kind of "god" up there in Space and we are down here suffering and that IF this "god" feels benevolent, then we may be given lots of money and "toys" to play with.

This fantastically stupid idea pervades most religious teachings and it is false.

This is mainly perpetuated in Christianity and it one of the reasons that Christianity is failing as a religion because not everybody is uneducated any more and they want "real" answers and not just platitudes.

A Question For You ↟↟

Do you have a soul or does your soul have a body?

Lessee, Lessor or Lesson?

If you see your body as being the "owner" of the "soul", then you are on the path of delusion - but - if you see your soul as having a body, then you are on a more path spiritual.

The answer to this question may be hidden in the or it may not?

Top Vedic Comparison

Let me clarify something from the beginning.

Most "religions" refer to celestial "objects" like Suns (Stars), Rogue Planets, Bolides etc as "gods" or more often as "Lords". (See )

In our popular culture of TV and Movies, the applicable titles of "lords" have changed to become the generalized as "gods" (lower case).

And these lords / gods are also true in "Many" aspects of Vedic teachings (with the being 1 prime example - because the word Tara actually means Star - so no ambiguity there.)

However, you may often see or hear these "Taras" referenced as gods, and possibly the most well known is Kali-Ma which is a black sun (like Isis Egypt) and yet Kali is often referred to as the goddess of destruction.

Hinduism

However, Hinduism per se is replete with a much greater pantheon of celestial "entities" than most other religions and there is a reason for this.

That reason is because Hinduism actually names many of their outright which shows that Hinduism is more advanced that many other (known about) religions - except for the fact that the entities they call gods are in fact angelic beings with specific functions.

The "trick" (if you will) with Hinduism is to know the difference between the true and false Celestial "entities" placed in charge of each of the levels of Creation and also their underlings.

Think of it like this, name any large company you can think of. Then name all of the people who work for that company...

The "Company Name" represents the "celestial department" and in many or even most cases, they have a massive network of staff / workers (angels if you like), that report back UP the ladder to The Source at Company Headquarters.

Some of these are "stand-alone" entities and some are "heads" of departments and some have other roles - and knowing "who" does what is part of learning higher esoterics.

This is because if you need to "call upon" a specific "entity" for a specific purpose, then you need to know the name and their capacity to accomplish what you are requesting**.

In a very simplified translation of that, you would call on a plumber to fix something which is their specific specialty and an electrician to fix something else which is their specialty etc.

** Note the word "Requesting".

For example.

You would not take your car to a hospital to get it repaired even though the hospital does do repairs - they are just dramatically different.

In the same way, you would not take your pregnant wife to a garage to give birth.

Corporation Structure Levels ↟↟

Each "level" between "us" and The Creator has their own "structure" of entities supporting it.

Think of it like a Big Corporation structure.

CEO, Board of Directors, State Managers (+ staff), Regional Managers (+ staff), Store Managers (+ staff), Account Manager (+ staff), Logistics Manager (+ staff), Sales Manager Managers (+ staff), etc.

Now extend this out to a MultiUniversal cosmic scale and throw in many Myriads of Angels.

This is why it says In The Beginning... Created ET HaShamayim and ET HaAretz.

The word HaShamayim is plural and the ET (Alef - Taf) represents everything between the first and last letters of the (alphabet).

It gets a lot more complicated from herein - so I will stop now.

Hindu Structure ↟↟

So the reason that the Hindu (gods) Lords are so numerous is because they actually list many of the names of these entities whose job is to maintain specific levels and other responsibilities.

Unfortunately, these entities are mistakenly called "gods" when in fact they are merely "cogs" in a much greater Dharmachakra wheel.

NOTE:

These "entities" only exist within the framework of the Hindu "Universe" and while they may have similar names and stories to other entities in other religions (like Brahma and Abraham), there is a distinct veil between each of these "universes" so please be careful if you cross over into the one you are not destined to be in "this lifetime".

Top The 7 Heavens

The following is a short introduction to the 7 Heavens.

These are different from the 14 Lokas mentioned in Hinduism.

The following list in no way implies that this is the totality of information regarding these levels.

In fact, books (plural) could be written about the structure, workings, purpose, interactions, designated angels and other implication of each level.

The following is from Judaism only.

For those seeking the mysteries of Heaven, the describes the seven heavens and some of the angels residing therein.

** The Throne of God

It must be noted that The "Throne of God" is a place between places where The Creator "lowers his essence" to a level where "He" can directly interact with Creation.

In Hebrew it is called the "Seat of Glory" as the word "seat" refers to the act of lowering oneself to a lower level, and in this case, so that that which exists above all else can connect with the aspects of physicality in which we exist.

This does not mean in any form that the God of Creation is completely disconnected from "creation" itself, but what it means is that The Creator does not spend every second of every day monitoring events and this is why THE HEAVENS were created so that those assigned to watch and manage these levels can report back to The Creator at the applicable time and then judgements are made.

In fact, this is an extremely simplistic overview of how The Heavens and that which is "above" the heavens is constructed.

The "Seat of Glory" is most commonly associated with Yom Kippur and it is where God decides on "Good", "Bad", and "Final" judgements against aspects of His creation (ie: us).

IF we are worthy, we may ascend, if not, then according to just how bad we are, it can be anything from a reset (Tower of Babel, The Flood etc), to complete erasure of complex life on this planet (or others).
