In Hindu texts there is something called "Sankalpa" (संकल्प) translates to a heartfelt intention, solemn vow, or absolute resolve and it is a powerful mental technique used in yoga and meditation to focus the mind and manifest positive changes and or events in this life or the next.
Today, we call this 
Lakshmi (also spelled Laxmi) is the Hindu goddess of wealth, fortune, power, beauty, and prosperity - ALL of her 16 attributes 
evolve around physical desires and traits.
Lakshmi is closely associated with the Shri Sukta from the Rigveda, which invokes her to bless devotees with abundance, purity, and grace. Again, these are physical desires.
However, I have divided this name against itself to reflect how shallow and pointless desires of physicality are.
- Lakh (लाख) == 100,000 Indian counting system.
- Shmi (שמי) == Hebrew for "My Name is".
- Verse == Shortened version of Universes.
In essence, it says "My Name is ??? in 100,000 universes. This "suggests" that you could (in theory) live 100,000 times (+-) and still not complete your Karmic journey of ascension which is just 500 perfect years.
Remember that everytime you "sin", you may be "sentenced" to return as an animal or even lower life form as well. 2 Cases in point.
Only very "Advanced" people will grasp this.
RetroActive Versus ProActive

But there is another side to meditation which most people miss and that is the "Projection" side of meditation - but there is a major problem with this aspect.
This "problem" is the "Fantasy of Illusion".
This means that the person "you" seek or desire to exist as in the body of someone who (at the moment) is beyond your physical, social and often financial reach.
You "desire" this experience so badly that you project this into your next lifetime and spend that entire lifetime literally living your "dream" (which often turns into a nightmare anyway).
Here Is The Main Problem ↟↟
Every lifetime you live projecting yourself into "this or that" body, these are lifetimes that you literally "lose" and to make matters worse, if you make mistakes, commit any sins, harm others, even lie or mislead, then you magnify your Karmic Debt.
This magnification may incur several or tens, or hundreds or even many tens of thousands of
Thus, each lifetime has the potential to throw you even further back down the soul evolution time line.
DO NOT assume that because your soul is currently here in human form, that it will always come back in human form. EVERY lower life form is a potential "host" for your soul.
Purpose?
Ask yourself, "What is my ultimate purpose"?
Or better yet, "what should my ultimate goal be"?
THAT should be your focus.

These time-wasting fantasy ego trips can all be avoided - but there is no magic pill.
However, there is a "way" or "path" you can follow if you are serious about ascension and not returning back here to live in the jungle like and animal and be eaten by animals.

There is a text called the 
That is a question on the surface, but there are deeper questions you only get from the Oral Tradition which also asks, "Can I manifest my own reality?" and
"How can this actually work when so many people are involved?"
Sankalpa - Pro and Con ↟↟
Sankalpa means a deeply focused intention.
There are 2 main aspects of Sankalpa which I will cover here.
- The positive aspect
- The negative aspect
In other words, Sankalpa is a focused fixation the person has which is so deep that they literally manifest their thoughts into reality in the next or subsequent lifetime(s) - and even within this lifetime which we generally refer to as "Positive Affirmations".
However the negative aspect - in most cases - is like a dog chasing its tail - especially when they bite down on it.
The Trap
There is only physicality involved (in most cases) with little to no purpose and rarely any kind of spiritual ascension included in the delusional physical focus.
I say delusion because we are not here to eat, sleep and die.
We are "capable" of a much higher purpose but we need to grasp this with absolute intent and pure intent.
Then we must merge this "pure intent" with a connection to The Creator just like it says in

1) It does not matter what God's Name is because it serves absolutely NO purpose for your spiritual evolution (at least at this level).
2) You could not pronounce it even if you knew all of the 72 Vowel Points associated with just the YHVH name. (See

But you say that there are only 31 Cantillation marks?
And for the level we are at, these 31 are all we need but if you want to be 101% accurate with the name, then you need the 32nd mark as well.

Most of the people who think that MultiVerses exist, think of these as layered like

Sankalpa is not just a thought process.
Sankalpa involves intense focus, intense desire, intense joy of "what if" and most importantly, it requires dedication and this is long term dedication, not just like today where people have (Save The World "Day") and expect miracles because they said so and then go back to their bad habits.
Classic deceptions
A classic example of this is the "world leaders" who fly in their private planes to

The Seed Of Experience ↟↟
If your Sankalpa is strong enough, intense enough and desired long enough, it becomes the "Seed of Potential Experiences".
In other words, you activate this "thought" into conscious reality on one planet or another and in one universe or another.
One thing you need to know.
THE mind of "God" is not linear.
Think of 3D Chess and then take that up to 13D Chess each existing within multiple layers of creation. Ie: Like the
Chittamatra (चित्तमात्र) ↟↟
Chitta means "mind" or "consciousness".
Matra means "only," "solely," or "measured".
When combined they translate to "Mind-Only" or "Consciousness-Only".
But it is the intensity of your Chittamatra which determines your eventual outcome.
The Trap ↟↟
As I stated above, this is a trap because if you live 500 perfect lifetimes, then you may ascend to the next level up.
These 500 perfect lifetimes do not need to be sequencial and nor do they need to exist with each specific lifetime.
In other words, you may live a day, a week, a month, a year, or even 10 OR MORE years in this "perfect state" and then before you can sin, God may decide to "gather in your soul" so as not to contaminate all of the good work you have done.
This is then credited to your Soul's Bank Account (expression only) and then you come back in another lifetime, hopefully to add another piece of your personal jigsaw puzzle to the picture (expression only) and create your own beautiful mosaic. (expression only)
King Solomon ↟↟
When Solomon was around 14 he went to a place (which is now where the Yad V'Shem Holocaust Museum is located) and he prayed to God to make him the Wisest King and God granted him his wish.
While Solomon may have become the wisest king, he was not very smart. 700 wives and 300 concubines (some say 500 concubines), is extreme gluttony and there is no way on this planet that he could satisfy so many women especially given their (average) age would have been very young and highly sexually stimulated.
Why am I including this?
Just because you ask or focus on being a king, does not automatically make you wise AND intelligent.
Even King Solomon fell down because of his arrogance (Ref: Ant Queen), so when you decide that you want something, make sure that it comes complete and not just the "extract" part you fantasize about.
I say this because one of the precepts in the Talmud is that a husband must satisfy his wife's physical "needs" at least once a month.
The rabbis set a limit of 18 wives specifically for a Jewish king during the Mishnaic period (compiled around 200 CE).
This rule, found in Mishnah Sanhedrin 2, was based on a warning in Deuteronomy against kings accumulating too many wives.
... And he (The king) "shall not take many wives for himself..." (source is Deuteronomy 17:17), but this was only codified to only eighteen a long time after Solomon had passed away. 
Solomon obviously did not get the memo.
This may seem like a sexist thing to say, but this was approx 3,000 years ago (circa 970 to 931 BCE) and women (in general) did not have the same rights that women of today have.
My point is that Solomon desired to be the wisest king and it happened.
I have often seen people manifest their own "Manna from heaven" after attending events with speakers like Tony Robbins.
In fact, back in the 1990's when I was attending such events (and they were never cheap), I often met people who told me amazing transformation stories when they started to believe in themselves after attending Tony Robbins events.
The first secret is to believe in yourself.
Be realistic in your goals. Do not believe that you can fly until you learn to crawl, then walk, then run and after that, "Who Knows" what you may be capable of?

"Moksha" should be earned and a person should not expect that they will be endowed with such a "gift" simply because they asked for it and especially if they are unworthy.
Think about it, what would the purpose of Creation be if we could all ask for good looks and a billion dollars followed by Moksha for dessert.
Think how corrupt the Earth (and all other planets) would become.
We can easily see marginalized people and decadence just in our society today with normal looking poor people.
You only have to go on most social media to see just how insanely enamored people are with their own pictures.
SO many young people think that having a hot ass is better than having an intelligent brain.
