Safest Candles?
Most people use candles to do traditional Gazing Meditation (Scrying) however, white paraffin candles may be toxic to your health in a enclosed enviornment (room).
What ever candles you choose, please use unscented candles so that it does not disturb your focus.
"Nostradamus" used a Copper bowl on a tripod for his gazing. He also did most of his "Gazing" at night and used an adjacent candle to create a refractive light or sheen effect on and in the water.
If you do not have a handy large copper bowl, you can also do this using an upright or even a flat mirror.
Gazing (late) at night reduces the cacophony of invasive thoughts from people around you. In Buddhism, it is said that the best time to meditate and pray is (approximately) between 3:30 AM and 5 AM (excluding daylight saving adjustments).
In Kabbalah and Judaism, midnight is also considered a time of prayer - besides the 3 daily prayers.
Other religions also highlight the benefits of praying or meditating after midnight. (too many to mention all)
REMEMBER that in the old days, people did not have electricity so all they had (if they could afford them) was precious candles typically made from animal fats or bees wax or other wax or even (usually) animal oils.
As a small child, I remember using rolled up cotton wick oil "lamps" and white paraffin candles and even gas lanterns with "tea bag" wicks.
If you are using candles for your Gazing method, please DO NOT use the "toxic paraffin" white petroleum based candles especially in an enclosed room.
"Bees Wax Candles" or even "Soy Candles" are preferred especially for your health.
Do not use anything brighter than a regular candle.

What Is Gazing Meditation?
Gazing Meditation is very similar to "Yantra Meditation" but one of the main differences is that Yantra is focused on attaining the state of "Mind Of No Mind" where as the Gazing Meditation is more (generally) focused on visions and predictions.
Gazing Meditation is also known as "Scrying" .
Scrying is also known as crystal (ball) gazing, "hydromancy" , or occlumency "occlumency" , is a practice rooted in divination and fortune-telling.
I have heard anecdotal "stories" of people who can do Gazing (either meditation or divination) simply by looking at a still part of water in a creek.
Mainly because of religious zeal (nice word for murder), many of these techniques went "underground" but thanks to modern technology, they are again seeing the light of day. Even Nostradamus feared for his life so he wrote his quatrains as poet pieces.
Google AI says that he did not fear persecution by the church but this is not true.
I have watched several documentaries on "Nostradamus" and they all say that religious persecution was the primary reason for the poetic quatrains.
Occult
The word Occult "Occult" ("occlusion" ) means hidden and in computer language, typically with encryption, it is generally called "Obfuscation" .
Gazing however, may also be used as a Meditation technique.
Gazing Meditation (simple version) is where you stare into or beside something like fire or water to help induce a "trance like" state.
Being in a trance which has no direction is like driving a car on an empty fuel tank. Nothing much happens.
However, being in a trance in a controlled Meditative state may give you the potential ability to do many things.
For example, you may have "proportional" access to what is commonly referred to as the "Akashic Records" and sometimes called "The Universal Mind" which potentially may allow you to be able to see the future, or you may be able to see / feel how honest a person is and many other psychic attribute.
A trance is the vehicle but the focused Meditative Mind is the "Steering Wheel" which allows you to control your journey there and back. Remember it is important to come back.
Gazing meditation is a much more simplified and controlled version of the "Gurdjieff Meditation" method.
Sensory Deprivation?
Why Use Sensory Deprivation?
Gazing works best if you restrict all external stimuli during and ideally before your meditation session. This means to stop as many distractions as possible.
The reason for this is so that you can become "immersed" or drawn into the object of your focus, whether it be water, candle, fire or the sun gazing method.
If you have distractions, like music, crying babies or even destructive or distractive thoughts, then you will have a very limited experience. (if at all)
Sensory Deprivation is where you shut down things that can visually or "aurally" distract you, this also includes smell, tight clothes and cold etc.
Internal Distractions ↟↟
Controlling your ("Monkey Mind" ) is easier if you use the Double Mantra Technique.
Unlike "TM" , it is vitally important NOT to follow distracting thoughts.
Meditation should be all about mental control and you cannot achieve mental control if you are constantly following every thought your mind throws at you.
Remember - you are looking for specifics during this meditation - and these specifics require focus - and you should not be thinking about if you have clean underwear or not.
Focus on your mantra and if you want an even more elevated method, clear your mind completely - but before you do that preset your mind to do whatever you want it to do.
You do this by utilizing a method called "PreCog Thoughts".
However, if you do become distracted and IF you are using a mantra, simply recognize that you have stopped saying your mantra and instantly stop whatever you are thinking about.
Start repeating your mantra.
Ideally, you should start the mantra by speaking it. Especially if you are new to meditation as this will help you refocus your mind away from distracting thoughts.
Say your mantra aloud for several minutes and then try again to say it silently.
Visions ↟↟
Let's say that you are looking for visions for someone.
It is important that you have a "Small" object which belongs to that person and you place this "Small" object on the palm of your hand and focus on their name.
Focus on see their future without actually saying the words. This is because you are trying to access a place which is beyond words - it is called the "Mind Of No Mind".
In other words, "PreCog" your mind to SEE their future, do not "say" their future.
When you look at something, you do not say or describe everything you look at, and the same principle applies here.
Practice going in and out of this mental state so that you can write things down as you see them, or have a recorder so that you can record them and then quickly revert back into the trance state.
Remember, you are looking "past" conscious thoughts so you need to keep this in mind.
Yantra?
If you want to build up muscle memory for Gazing, you may like to try "Yantra Meditation" .
Group Mantras ↟↟
Group Mantras / Meditation should be said aloud - when you start - and this helps keep the entire group synchronized.
Many people may have seen movies or TV shows with Buddhist monks chanting aloud.
There are multiple reasons for them doing this and one of those reasons is timing - they practice just like a choir practices.
If you want to keep the group in Sync, we have created 10, 15 and 20 second "Meditation Pings" for you to download and LOOP on your playback device.
"Chanting" is a very effective and powerful way of controlling the "Monkey Mind" as well as keeping the group in sync.
Timing is key.
But Chanting only works if you are focused on saying the group mantra at the same time as everyone else. That is where the 10 second "ping" comes in very handy.
What To Wear ↟↟
Ideally you should be wearing loose organic Cotton or Linen or natural Wool clothing so that there is no distractions from tight clothing (including bra or undies or even socks). Do not wear shoes.
Do not wear synthetics.
More info on "Fabric Frequencies" is here.
Your Honesty Level
How honest are you?
Imagine a scale from 0 - 100 and then think which number applies to you as far as your honesty is concerned.
How truthful are you?
Now do the same scale of 0 - 100 and this time, which number applies to how truthful you are.

Now consider this, if you are 20% honest and 80% dishonest, then you will get 20% truth (which may be mixed with untruths) and 80% untruths (again which may be mixed).
If you are 50% honest, then the same principle applies - 50% truth and 50% untruths.
The responses you get back are directly related to your personal honesty.
Psychic Visions ↟↟
Apart from meditation, many people use "Gazing" techniques as a method of psychically seeing the future. Your ability to be accurate will depend on your honesty and other Limiting Factors.
Gazing is a powerful tool by which many people are able to do this, however, there are several severe potholes in this road that you need to be aware of.
Any visions you may see or voices you may hear will be dependent on your personal level of Honesty.
Simply put, this means that if you are 50% honest and 50% dishonest, you will only get (receive) 50% of truth in your messages. The rest will be mis-information.
If you are 90% honest, then the messages you will get, will contain 10% mis-information.
This means that the more honest you are, the greater the chance of truthful messages you will receive.
Simple Indicator ↟↟
A simple indicator of your truthfulness is if you write down your dreams and see how many of them come true.
Examples of Gazing Meditation
Because of its simplicity, Gazing is often used by people who seek to "divine" future events.
REMEMBER: The accuracy of any "visions" you get will depend upon your personal honesty level.
Listed below are the most common "methods" which are still used today in this type of "Mind-Of-No-Mind" Gazing Meditation.
- Candle Gazing

- Water Gazing

- Sun Gazing

- Fire Gazing

- Power Stones

- Disconnected Gazing

- "Yantra Meditation"

All of the "Gazing" methods basically disconnect your mind from your immediate physical reality - at least that is what should happen if they are done properly.
You may also have heard of Crystal Ball gazing? Use the Water Gazing method with your crystals for better results.
Other lesser known gazing methods include gazing at clouds, colored crystals, obsidian, lightning induced vitrified glass and even various structured crystals like Monoclinic, Triclinic, Orthorhombic, Hexagonal etc.
Some people use Lava Lamps or even Plasma globes, but these can be very distracting resulting in weaker experiences.
Candle Gazing ↟↟
Candle Gazing is where you clear your mind of all thoughts and basically stare "besides" the flame of a candle.
You should note that there are several colors within the candle flame and you must decide which one you wish to focus on.
You can either stare at the edge of the flame - or - through the flame itself or you can use the adjacent method by staring besides the flame (approx 1 - 2 inches or 3 - 5 cms) and towards infinity.
The "adjacent" method means that the flame becomes "The Distractor" which helps placate your thoughts (Monkey Mind).
Using the flame from a candle is different from using a flame from a fireplace.
It is your choice and what ever works best for you.
The "infinity" focus method is recommended for both Water and Candle techniques.
In the beginning and until you are able to control your breathing, simply focus on slowing your breathing down to 5 or 6 breaths a minute and clear your mind of all thoughts.
You must become like an empty vessel waiting to be filled. This must be an absolute desire to be filled with the love of The Creator.
As you gain more control over your breathing, you now need to control your breathing down to 3 or 4 breaths per minute. This is important.
This is one way of creating total focus in your mind and blocking the "Monkey Mind" from disrupting your meditation experiences.
HONESTY NOTE:
If you are seeking any kind of spiritual messages or inspiration, then you must know that you will only receive answers at the level of honest which is in your heart.
Water Gazing ↟↟
Water Gazing is basically clearing your mind of all thoughts and then staring into a bowl of water.
Ideally you would be in low lit (darkened) room without disturbances or distractions.
To do Water Gazing effectively, you will need a shallow bowl which is between 12 - 24 inches (30 - 60 cms) wide and 4 - 8 inches (10 - 20 cms) deep.
This bowl can be either dull or reflective, it is your choice and I suggest you try both to see which one gives you the best results.
A stainless steel wok (or similar) would be ideal.
You should be staring through the water towards the other side of the world towards infinity (not at the bottom of the bowl).
Many people have noticed that they get a better result if they place a soft light or candle at an adjacent angle to the water so that the refractive light creates a shimmer or sheen.
Focus on your breathing, slow it down to 5 or 6 inhale and exhale breaths a minute and clear your mind of all thoughts. This "10 Second Meditation Ping" will help most people.
You must become like an empty vessel waiting to be filled
NOTE:
If you are seeking any kind of spiritual messages or inspiration, then you must know that you will only receive answers at the level of honest which is in your heart.
Sun Gazing ↟↟
The "Sun Gazing" method is often used by people to help heal their bodies from various ailments. Of course this is all anecdotal evidence since no proper studies have been done and all of the ones I have read, use very limited parameters or are cherry picked to death.
If you want to read an informative book about "Healing With Light" from a Tibetan perspective, I can recommend this book called Healing with Form, Energy, and Light: The Five Elements in Tibetan Shamanism, Tantra, and Dzogchen by .
Chakra Balancing.
This is purportedly done by using the full spectrum of light emitted by the sun to balance, recalibrate, heal and harmonize your chakras.
I have written more about "Chakra Healing" here.
However, Sun Gazing can also be used as a meditation.
WARNING
NEVER look directly at the sun.
Always look to the left or right, or above or below the sun when you do this method.
The "trick" here is to get the sunlight coming in through your eyes - at an angle.
Added Bonus
Sun Gazing may also be used as a cognitive (mental) therapy for many people.
An added bonus of doing Sun Gazing is that people often report it helps them reset their brains when stressed. Some say it is like "Grounding" for the brain.
This is especially noticeable in many people who work long hours on computers or who do night shifts.
This stress also applies to people who work long hours indoors with artificial light. Sun Gazing can help reset the brain.
You need to control your breathing and ideally try and get down to 5 - 6 breaths per minute. This is important.
I have personally used this method when I was working in my computer based business where I would often work weeks at a time in the office.
How To...
Very Important
This is very important. NEVER do Sun Gazing after the sun has risen over 30 degrees.
Except for far northern locations, this is typically between 8 AM - 9 AM at the latest.
I prefer to do mine in the first 30 - 40 minutes of Sun rise or not at all, and then only for a short time.
Potential Benefits
Sun rays - in the morning - have a higher absorbable concentration of Red Scale rays which science has recently found to be highly beneficial to your mind and body - especially for healing.
WARNING
To use Red Light Therapy safely, you need to know the beneficially frequencies - and this is because there are also harmful frequencies as well.
There is tons of studies done on Red Light Therapy and the multitude of benefits from the right Red Light frequencies.
- "Google Scholar - Red Light Therapy"

- Red Light Therapy Bible

- Light Medicine Of The Future

- Ultimate Guide To Red Light Therapy

NOTE
Do not do this exercise behind glass - because glass blocks certain "light rays" from the sun. +
Breathing
Focus on your breathing, slow it down to 3 or 4 breaths a minute and clear your mind of all thoughts.
Focus on Red Light entering your eyes and healing your body and mind.
You must become like an empty vessel waiting to be filled with light.
Imagine that the sun is a basketball which is approx 100 feet or 35 meters in front of you.
Stare off to the side of the rising sun just past the point where it hurts your eyes. This is usually approx 6 - 9 feet or 2 - 3 meters on either side (in perspective).
NEVER stare directly at the sun or you will damage your eyes.
Visualize the sunlight entering your body and filling you up with light.
Focus on your breathing and filling your body up with sunlight.
TIP:
Touch a tree which is growing from the grounds (not a potted plant) and do this for 10 - 20 seconds each morning. Why?
This is called grounding and it helps discharge negative energy you may have manifested.
Grounding is also a powerful method of balancing your brain, mind and body and many people report amazing benefits from doing this.
NOTE:
If you are seeking any kind of spiritual messages (as some people claim) or inspiration, then you must know that you will only receive answers at the level of honesty which is in your heart.
Fire Gazing ↟↟
Fire Gazing is done by using either (a) an open fire in a wood burning fireplace or (b) a combustion stove where the flames are clearly visible. This is a different method from Candle Gazing.
The "Fire Gazing" method is typically used by people who are seeking a more extreme experience.
Psychically - water is the more passive and fire is the more aggressive - however, this can reverse.
For example: Water may become aggressive if the persons "sins" are too great and fire may become passive in certain situations.
Aggressive physical manifestations of these can be seen with Lightening and Tsunamis - while passive examples can be seen with a calm ocean or fire balls which do not burn.
When I was 18, I had read about destructive fire balls, so when I actually saw one which passed through a wall and did not burn anything, I was greatly surprised (to say the least).
Fire Gazing may also be used as a meditation.
However, I would seriously caution you against doing this if you are weak minded or on drugs (of any kind).
HOW TO ↟↟
Look directly into the flames. This is because any color changes around the edges of the flames are usually too erratic and they do not offer a good focal point.
You need to control your breathing and ideally try and get down to 3 or 4 breaths per minute. This is important.
I have personally used this method and some of the experiences have been very strong.
Like I said above, please use caution and if you feel like you are losing control, please STOP immediately and then IF you want to continue, try again a few days later when you are calmer.
Focus on your breathing, slow it down to 3 or 4 breaths a minute and clear your mind of all thoughts.
You must become like an empty vessel waiting to be filled
NOTE: ↟↟
I repeat that this kind of meditation should not be attempted if you are a beginner.
Power Stones & Others ↟↟
What Are Power Stones?
In my opinion, Power Stones are simply a commercialization of crystal gazing or crystal meditation using an assortment of gemstones.
As a generalization, I have found that very few people get any significant benefits from crystals or power stones etc.
The ones who do get a benefit are higher level souls who are simply activating their innate abilities.
I used to go to "markets" and see people selling crystals and making exorbitant claims and when I asked questions, you could clearly see their eyes glaze over and there was no connection between the words which came out of their mouth and their eyes.
Perhaps these may work for you but I suggest that you buy something cheap to start with so you do not end up like the Emperor with no clothes.
Calibration Issues
If the crystals or power stones (gemstones) etc are not calibrated precisely, then you have no idea what vibration you are absorbing, do you?
At best, they would only produce the Earths "Schumann Resonance" vibration. If you want to see a cool visualization of this "Marco's Dancing Magnets" vibration @ 7.8 Hz.
Other factors like ego, pride and arrogance etc, which will impede your experiences are here.
p>I do not know if this is because the people involved in the crystal or power stones methods are genuinely genuine or simply trying to be part of a clique?
In fact, I have often found that most of the people who buy crystals (as I did when I was very young), find that they do not get any kind of experience when using these items.
I have had several girlfriends who used crystals for meditation, and they all confided in me that they got no "buzz" what-so-ever.
Disconnected Gazing ↟↟
You may have heard of this by the more common name "Day Dreaming"?
Disconnected Gazing is actually something many people do and yet most are completely unaware that they are doing it.
This is basically where you start staring at (literally) nothing and your attention becomes disassociated (or Disconnected) from your current reality.
This has many reasons for happening from thinking of someone, something, somewhere to problem solving on the fly.
In most cases, people around you tend to feel that it is their responsibility to distract you from your thoughts and constantly ask you "if you are all right"?
This self-Disconnected Gazing can be a potent benefit if you learn how to use it properly.
I have found the best utilization of this method is to be alone in a room which is beige in color (first choice) and otherwise, hang a black sheet against the wall and stare at that if you cannot manage beige.
Beige** seems to offer you the right texture for parts of your vision you do not normally use - I have no idea how this works.
Simply do slow deep breathing to get you started and stare at the wall (or sheet) and make your perception look deeper than the wall or sheet by imagining that you are looking to see your favorite monument - like the Eiffel Tower, Statue of Liberty, Big Ben, Uluru or any other point - which is many many miles (Kms) away from your current location.
Learn to control this asset you have and it will prove to be highly beneficial to you.
** Bright colors do not seem to work as well.
Other Mediums ↟↟
In the Shinto religion, it is claimed that "all" things have a life force.
This life force must have a specific or bracketed vibration format.
In modern language, we call this a Hertz Vibration.
In his book, "Likutei Amarim Tanya", Rav Zalman claims that all matter in the universe is recreated "Ex Nihilo" .
So based on these and other religious texts, it may be understood that all matter contains a vibration and thus you can technically use any solid object as a medium for gazing. No matter how dreary they may appear to be.
It all depends on your spiritual level.
How Does It Work? ↟↟
As I have just stated above, it all depends on your spiritual level.
You need to be advanced enough that you can see beyond the physical aspect of the item (such as a rock or crystal, or gemstone etc) and perceive, see or feel the "energy essence" of the item. This is the light which created and maintains that specific structure.
Nostradamus Style
Focus on Prophecy
"Nostradamus" used Gazing as his main prophecy technique. You may have the same ability as well, so why not try?
Nostra is a possessive adjective in the Italian language. In the UK you often hear people saying "Our" Frank or "Our" Betty or other family member, while in other parts of the world you may hear "My" Frank or "My" Betty. In Hebrew, the possessive adjective "usually" comes at the end of the word in the form of a Y or I. Moti, Tali, Beni (Benny) etc. In this case the letter I or Y has an E sound for example: Tal-ee or Benny.
Possessive adjective - as described above - are typically used as terms of endearment related to a loved one.
Other commonly used possessive adjectives are my, your, his, her, its, our, their, and whose. (Possessive "adjectives" and Possessive "determiners" ).
Damus indicates you are a patient, meticulous person who enjoys working in a detailed, systematic way.
Make your experience more interesting - focus on something like "What will happen tomorrow".
Keep focusing on "Tomorrows" events until you are 100% accurate. Then switch your focus to what will happen "Next" Week. Then focus on next month.
The reason for "Tomorrow Events" is so that you can quickly see how accurate you are.
TIP: Keep a diary and write down all of your prophecies. You never know how many come true unless you have a written record.
This will also be a good indicator of your level of honesty.
Distance ↟↟
I have found that distances from 45 cms (18 inches) - 100 cms (3 feet) are generally the best distances to use.
If you are too far away, then you tend to strain your eyes and tension is not what you need when you are trying to relax.
Breathing ↟↟
It is important that whichever gazing technique you are using, that you focus on your breathing.
Slow deep breaths - fill your lungs completely and then exhale completely. Do this slowly.
Actually you should practice this breathing before you start gazing so that you are not distracted by it.
Your goal is to get your breathing down to less than 6 breaths per minute. This should be in a relaxed state and there should be NO stress.
If others can do this, then so can you. It just takes practice.
Blinking ↟↟
Do not rapid blink. Slow your blinking down to match your breathing.
Blink only once at the beginning of each inhale.
If you stare at a light (like a candle) then rapid blinking has the same effect as a strobe light that psychiatrists use to "recalibrate" (reset) the brain when someone is having a cognitive malfunction.
Rapid blinking also - for many people - has the side-effect of making you sleepy. This is because if you rapid blink for 1 or 2 minutes - your eyelid muscles get tired - which is a precursor (trigger) to sleep.
Music and Gazing Meditation
One of the worst things you can do when doing Gazing Meditation is to listen to music.
Gazing Meditation requires stillness of the mind.
To increase Gazing Meditation experiences, you should be proficient in the following 3 Meditation disciplines.
Discipline is one of the main keys to success.
Honesty is another major key.
And Love is another major key.
Music is not on the "Main Key" list.
So... it is strongly suggested that you do not listen to any music as this will cause distractions.
The focus of Gazing Meditation is to "immerse" your "mind" into the medium you are using (water, candle, fire etc).
Immersion cannot be attained if you are constantly being distracted. Playing music would be like taking a bath without water. Not a good idea.
For most people, you will have a hard enough time just clearing your mind of all extraneous (external) thoughts. Playing music will only make the distractions worse.
Pranayama Breathing Exercises
Controlled breathing is very important with all meditation methods, especially Gazing Meditation.
This is because your breath must be slow and controlled otherwise it is shallow, fast and distractive.
Shallow breathing also make you more stressed.
Pranayama ↟↟
Controlled breathing will greatly enhance your gazing meditation.
If you wish to learn some yogic controlled breathing techniques, please consider the well established and well proven "Pranayama" breathing methods.
Benefits of Gazing Meditation
There are at least 2 main benefits of Gazing Meditation.
1) Gazing into water and using refractive candle light will allow most people the ability to focus their mind on just one subject, the light ripples in the water. This is best done in a darkened room for maximum effect.
2) Most people - after a lot of practice - will reach a nexus point where the mind will suddenly transcend physicality and they have the potential to "see" visions.
The Wall Trick ↟↟
Once you become very proficient at gazing, you may be able to switch from your chosen method to using a blank wall. I have personally found that "Off White -to- Beige" are my best colors. For me, the darker the color, the less I see.
You also need to project your thoughts towards what you wish to envisage. I was taught to think of this as the discipline of a a train on a train track.
Gazing Meditation may induce a rapid feeling of joy but it may also induce the opposite just as quickly.
If you are a negative person, then you should use a positive affirming mantra while gazing.
If you get a negative experience, then you may be Trace mineral deficient. This phenomena is much more prevalent than you think.
Generally it is referred to as Meditation Sickness
This is not my first choice of Meditation technique for beginners since it can just as easily leave you without the ground under your feet - literally.
Remember: If you have the right levels of honesty, this can be a powerful method of "gazing" into the future.
Conversely if you have ANY amount of dishonesty, you may be very disappointed.
Pitfalls of Gazing Meditation
Caveat ↟↟
However, there is a serious Caveat or 2.
Caveat 1:You will only get back the level of truth that you reflect, so if you are a pathological liar, then your visions will be extremely low quality.
Analogy: It could be described as looking through a very dirty window, seeing shadows and inventing stories about them. The more honest you are, the cleaner the window.
Caveat 2:
With gazing techniques you may feel yourself falling forward or backwards or up or down. Do not worry, this often happens.
Many people often feel the sensation of their hands or feet "floating" or being disconnected from their body.
If you experience the sensation of "Falling", you need to be able to break out of your trance or semi-trance and return back to your "real" world.
Failure to do so may cause extreme anxiety and stress.
Some people feel great joy and others may have great fear. If you have fear, then you need to work on being a more positive person. This will take many months using "Controlled Meditation" and especially when combined with "Positive Affirmations" .
The "Trick" is to take control of yourself and focus on the journey, do NOT be afraid of what is happening, simply let it flow.
Tying some string around one of your hands will help "ground" you in the physical world and make any return journey much easier.
If done wrongly OR if you are not mentally strong enough, Gazing Meditation can be very frightening.
You may experience "visions" unlike anything you have ever experienced before, you may hear voices or you may feel completely lost.
Some people I have spoken with actually say that it felt like "something" was trying to take over their mind.
If this happens you should stop immediately.
You can think of Gazing Meditation like body building, you need to practice and practice to get yourself into shape. The same principle applies here.
Just do a little bit at a time. 10 minutes a day is usually enough to get started.
TIP: ↟↟
If you are afraid or even concerned, there is a trick I was taught and this is to wrap a piece of cloth around your hand and bind yourself with an "oath" (promise) that you will "return" back to physical reality as soon as you feel concerned.
This is a very simply promise whereby you promise yourself that no matter what happens, you will return to your body unharmed.
Worded Like This: Wrap the string or cloth around your hand, then say "I promise to return to my body unharmed if I feel afraid or stressed".
It is that simple and it works.
Some Experiences ↟↟
You may suddenly feel the "ground" beneath you disappear or just as easily be thrown into a black void.
Falling is another scary sensation many people experience.
Some people fall forwards and some people fall backwards. Some fall up and some feel like they are falling down.
Some people feel like they are simply being drawn out of their body.
Black Pitt ↟↟
Some people experience falling into a black pit (something like tar or crude oil).
My first experiences were • falling forwards, • the black void and a • strange feeling of almost ghost like detachment from my body.
People often describe this as a similar feeling to astral traveling.
Falling Solution ↟↟
This is where you need to take control of your fall and start "floating" up towards the light.
This is done with what is commonly referred to as "Creative Visualization".
Simple Solution ↟↟
Creative Visualization (in this case) is where you "imagine" that something is happening (like fantasy) and you set your mind in a controlled manner to visually manifest that event to become real in your mind.
Part 1: Simply Visualize light shining down towards you and start "floating" up towards this light. It is that simple.
Part 2: Simply imagine and believe that since you are falling (but not really falling) that IF you can fall down, then you can also fall up. This is what I did and it did take some months, but it also worked.
This part 2 principle also applies when you have dreams where you are falling. (as I did when I was young)
Suggestion ↟↟
I would suggest that you start off with a Controlled Meditation method so that when you do try Gazing Meditation, you have the mental discipline to handle any experiences you may encounter. The strength of your discipline will be determined by the time, energy and intent you project when you are meditating - usually at least 30 ++ minutes a day is required.
Bon Voyage.
Limiting Factors
Arrogant Or Not
If your personal vibration is dysfunctional, then this will impact and affect your meditations especially if you are using gazing techniques such as crystals or power stones etc, which will in-turn cause a greater imbalance in the frequency emitted and thus creating a negative feedback "loop".
Some Inhibiting Causes ↟↟
Some things which may cause your energy to be dysfunctional are:
- Arrogance
- Fear
- Ego
- Pride
- Hate
- Disharmony - due to lack of meditation experience
- Sloth (laziness)
- Anger
- Not being grounded
Overcoming These Negatives
You can overcome and control these negative aspects in a very simple way.
- Meditate for at least 40 minutes a day using positive mantras such as "Peace" or "Love"or "Love and Light".
- Blessing others with genuine love (has an incredible effect on you).
- Consider doing "The Golden Mantra"
.
- Remember The Law Of Attraction: The energy you put out is what you will get back.
- Be genuine. This sounds simple but so many people have "faux" or "shallow" as their secret name.
- Seek closeness to the Creator by focusing on Psalm Chapter 27 Verse 4.
- If you believe in "love", then you have the capacity to attain a closeness to the Creator. If you do not believe or seek Love, then you need to consider just how lost you are.
