The Gateless Gate - Mumonkan (無門関)

The Gateless Gate represents the transcendence from the physical mundane into the esoteric simply by passing through a designated (portal) point. Kind of like the StarGate concept.

This designated point may be physical or spiritual - but it is usually a mental exercise.

Here is where it gets really interesting.

Your "mind" creates its own reality based on whatever you have been taught, so in essence, if you were told to go through 100 gates and all you had as a reference point was the front gate to your house yard, then this is what you would perceive as "your" reality when you do ascension meditation.

If - however - you are shown a mystical looking "Gate" such as the Tori'i gate (Tor-ee-ee), then this is what you will see when you ascend.

Why? Because this is what you have been programmed to see - this is your anchor point - and thus what you are the most comfortable with - it is called "Your Own Truth".

In advanced sales techniques, we were taught that people will buy more if you show them simple math and they can work out the financial benefits themselves. Only Then do most believe it.

The same principle applies here where people (generally speaking) will focus on the simplest concept and grasp that as their reality.

If you think that the gates are represented by circles (like the 10 sephirot), then this is what you will ["will"] to see in your ascension reality.

This is a massive subject and I will try and explain without writing a book.

Mainly in Japan but also in other Asian countries, you will see an entrance or gateway which looks like this orange / red image below. In Japan it is called a Tori'i. (Pronounced Toree-ee)

It is said that you pass through the entrance on one side, (representing the physical) that you pass through from the mundane world and you enter the sublime esoteric realm when you get to the other side.

Some people call this a Zen Gate.

The Tori'i (Torii) is a physical representation of "potential", in other words, what you MAY be able to do and it gives your soul (Atman, Neshamah) an anchor point for your soul to "actuate" (realize) when you are at the event horizon of transcendence or transference when you are ready to cross over.

In simple English, it becomes a symbol or sign which allows you to look for specific "things or people" on the other side in order to progress.

Without these "signs" or "symbols", how do you know which way to go to get to your destination?

And unless you learn, how do you know what or where your destination is?

Like it says in the "Sefer Zohar" - if you do not know the way to the Kinds Palace, you have to ask.

The catch is that you need to know "whom" to ask and "what" to ask?

This - of course - depends upon if you recognize the Tori'i in the first place and understand its inner meaning in the second place.

If you see the gates as balls of light (radiant energy), then this is much closer to true reality than any physical manifestation you could possibly imagine.

In most cases, the "true designation point" can be accessed or transcended by advanced meditation.

It is only by mastering "Controlled Meditation" that you can repeatedly cross over from physicality into the esoteric or spiritual realm.

Once you have mastered the "cross over" technique, then you may be able to use a Trigger Word or phrase to move more quickly between the physical and the esoteric. This includes accessing the "Akashic Records" .

From my own personal experience, I can tell you that when you die, your soul is laid bare and everything you say, do and think is exposed and everything you own is worthless and irrelevant.

Everything vanishes - including (but not limited to) the entire world and universe, your family, your possessions, your ego, your arrogance, your money, your pride, your food and even the air you breathe.

The only thing you take with you are your good and bad deeds (AKA Karma).

Just like when you turn a TV off.

When you enter the gate, it is time to challenge your mind. Do this until the answer comes before the question.

One example:

How can you "own" the land if it is a hologram?

When Abraham asked "God" How will I know that I will inherit the land? ("Genesis 15:1-12" ) (paraphrased)

This was a "trap" question, because it takes Abraham from the Spiritual back to the Physical.

How do I know it was a Trap Question?

"Leviticus 25:23" The land is mine said the Lord. (paraphrased again)

So the real question is this: "What was Abraham really asking?"

In fact, the answer to this question is an answer that you do not expect or understand.

The animals Abraham was told to collect are all Zodiac signs and they correlate to some of the Egyptian pantheon and some of the 21 Taras.

Side Note: It must be pointed out that our modern Zodiac was not universally accepted in olden days and "the ancients" often had completely different anthropomorphic representations in their star charts, for example, the "Dendera Zodiac".

Hathor was the cow (Taurus the bull) with the red sun between its horns or "down the middle", Abraham was told to bring a Heifer (cow), then divide in 2 ("down the middle").

... and a flaming torch (fire) passed between those pieces...

According to the Pyramid Texts (Egypt), Isis and Osiris came from modern day Orion (Sah) and the Cedars of Lebanon are the Pleiades star cluster.

Why does Anubis face East and the Golden Gate also face East?

Facing East to pray is a mnemonic. It is also predicted that the Messiah will come from the East.

THE problem is the question behind that statement which is, "Which Messiah"?

Because you have THE "Messiah" and the False messiah to consider. One is brought about by elevated consciousness and the other is a destroyer - sometimes referred to as the "Lord of Hosts".

Also, There used to be a small black pyramid next to the 3 big Giza Pyramids, but - according to my Egyptian guide on my first visit to Egypt in 1986 - Napoleon in his wisdom decided to destroy that small black pyramid so now, there are only 3 main Giza pyramids and some smaller pyramids commonly referred to as the "queen's pyramids".

In fact, when I inquired about this black pyramid when I was in Egypt at that time, I was shown a hand drawn map (generally called a manuscript map) from around the time of Napoleon clearly showing the smaller black pyramid.

The biggest of the 3 Giza pyramids contains approx 2.3 Million stone blocks cut to within less than a hairs width of perfection.

All of the Giza pyramids contain over 7 MILLION perfectly hewn stone blocks.

In Hinduism, there are 10 such "Mahavidyas" and Kali (Kali Ma) is not a goddess with 4 arms (sometimes depicted with 8 arms and known as Bhadra Kali) but now consider Kali as a black sun with planets represented as arms which represent the "Hands" connected to the body of Kali. Sometimes these may be represented as Heads.

So the next questions have to be:

3. Why do they continue to be mentioned (worshiped)?

1. Why are these celestial "entities" repeated anthropomorphically in most of the older religions?

4. Do you really think that Cronus ate his children? Remember that we now call the planets after deities, so why wouldn't older races also call the planets after deities they believed in?

You need to consider that celestial entities like planets and suns etc were often referred to as deities (gods) - and we still name planets after deities (gods) today including many of the outer planetesimals.

100 Gates Enigma

Consider this: How is it that countries all over the ancient world had the same 100 Gates idea?

• 100 Gates in Thebes, Egypt. +
• 100 Gates in Osaka, Japan.



• 100 Gates in ancient Persia (Iran) in a city called صددروازه (Persian) Saddarvazeh (Anglicized Persian) Hekatompylos (Greek).
• Mea Shearim is a suburb in Jerusalem, Israel and Mea Shearim means 100 Gates and is next to another suburb called Geulah (redemption).

As you may be able to see, the transition from physicality to the spiritual - in most cases - is a simple exercise of asking questions and genuinely seeking answers.

Levels

The problem is that there is not just 1 level of truth, there are layers and layers of truth.

For example: When you were a very small child, milk came from mum, then it came from a container in the fridge, then you found out it came from the store, then you found out it came from a cow, then you found out that the cow came from a farm etc etc.

ALL of these are true depending upon the time you are at each applicable stage.

It all depends on your personal level as to what you learn, and it all depends on your desire and intention to learn more.

If you believe the wrong things, then when you are exposed to one of the higher layers, most people have a mental conniption.

To get to these academies, you need to have a pure heart or else the "Guardians" will spiritually attack you along the way.

There are 10 "Secret Passwords" and I list a few of them here - if you want to do ascension meditation.

Physical Example ↟↟

First you have kindergarten, then primary school and then high school (generally speaking).

Once you get through High School - you then need to go to University and if you want to specialize, you need to continue studying even further.

This is a physical example of how you need to study and grow on a spiritual level as well. Just because you finish at one school level (grade), does not mean that you are Universally wise.

Other Traps

Then you need to avoid other traps like harming others or calling "god" a name.

Once you call "god" a name your mind creates this as your perceived reality when you die.

This is the meaning of "You will have no other gods before me".

Rituals

All of the religions I have studied so far have some kind of ritual that you must perform after dying. The deception of reality became so apparent to me when I read the "Egyptian Book Of The Dead" where it says that if you do not follow specific rules and if you do not answer specific question correctly, you would not be allowed into heaven (paraphrased).

Think about this for a minute or 6.

Every generation in every country since the year dot have called "god" a name, in fact, many names and in most religions (that we know about) there is a myriad of pantheons ( "polytheistic" ) of these gods.

As you can see by this exhaustive "Pantheon of gods" list, not all of these people could be right about the name(s) of their gods.

Literally thousands and thousands and thousands of names.

Do you honestly think that every name is correct?

And then you have grades of names as well.

For example, King Solomon is called SOLOMON but his 7th grade level is called Kohelet. (or with a Q if you prefer). Actually, for clarity, Solomon is the lower of the 7 grades. ( "Sefer Zohar" )

In the bilingual English - Hebrew (Jerusalem) bible, Solomon's writings and musings are called "Kohelet" because that was the highest of his 7 level names, but in English, they are referred to as Ecclesiastes.

The Multi Names Conundrum

The Multi Names Conundrum is where (usually) people of rank were given different names.

Book of Esther. The King of Persia's name in Hebrew is listed as "Ahasuerus" but in Greek, he is called "Xerxes" .

Film stars also often change their names. + +

The book of Esther is actually named after a lady whose read name was "Hadassah" + Et al .

Even today in 2026 it is very popular for Muslims to change their names when they become jihardi's.

These names are easy to spot because most start with "Abu +".
