Faith Or Feelings
There is a reason that you have a massive brain.

IF "faith" alone was enough to connect with The Creator, we would all have a brain the size of a walnut.
This in no way means to diminish the power of "Faith" for many people.
However, there are "boundaries" to faith and many of these boundaries have been corrupted and manipulated by those with ulterior motives.
Some people say that "Faith" is more important than "Feelings" - However - IF your Faith is based on misguided or misleading facts, then your "Faith" will also be corrupted.
It is also true that if your "feelings" are based on physicality, like food, power, ego, arrogance, money etc, then these are also false.
However:
The true "path" to The Creator is not via words or Faith - it is via a feeling called "Love".
Sadly, this word has been misused to death in frivolous and often banal ways (usually associated with sex or some other material desire like food).
Its potential has been diluted to the "nth degree".
"The Path" to The Creator is the path of Love and only pure Love can get you there.
This is why the Dalai Lama is often quoted as saying his "desire" is to feel "Joy" everyday - but what most online comments fail to mention is the rest of his quote which is "To be in the presence of The Creator" (in order to feel this joy).
His joy is not materialistic as it appears to be when you read incomplete quotes.
The "bible" also makes this statement in Deuteronomy 6:5 where the word 
The Desire Conundrum ↟↟
There are 3 types of desire.
- Shallow
- Worldly
- Godly
The one we are interested in is the "Godly desire".
The other 2 are distractions from reality.
A perfect example of Godly desire is
Adam And Eve ↟↟
One of the reasons that Eve was created was not to wash dishes but as a helpmate so that both Male and Female "energies" could experience Love and "find" the Path to The Creator.
This is because IF Adam was created alone (or IF Eve was created alone), they would have no benchmark with which to even begin to understand the basic concept of Love.

Without the concept of love, you would not understand actual Love when it happened - and without the capacity to Love, you would not understand it even then.
However, by having someone "to love" (like a spouse or new born baby), this activates a higher consciousness capacity within us so that the "idea" of connecting "to" The Creator via "Love" is not foreign, but in fact, it is desired.
The main problem for most people is that they cannot relate to this higher level of Love - in most cases this is because they are ingrained in physicality.
*** There is a higher level of Love which very few people manage to experience and that is a direct connection with The Creator and while this is possible to achieve, like I said, it is a rare occurance and thus one of the reasons for the creation of male and female was so that love per se could take root and blossom in most people (with rare exceptions), thereby giving almost every person the potential to seek a higher level of Love.
Nullification
People who hate or follow any teachings or doctrines which promote hate, murder and domination by force will never experience true God Level Love.
This is because their hearts are twisted with darkness.
They may say the words, but they will never have the experience of the universe flowing through their hearts as they connect to The Divine.
Consider this.
If The Creator wanted to subjugate and force people to follow any teaching, why would the attribute of Love be created in the first place?
Image a universe filled with hate and violence and then think about how pointless creation would be if this was reality.
Body Or Soul?
Does your body have a soul - or - does your soul have a body?
One of those answers elevates you spiritually, the other answer drags you down.
