Top Harmonic

Tikun Project FAQ

In acoustic physics, and telecommunications, a harmonic is a sinusoidal wave with a frequency that is a positive integer multiple of the fundamental frequency of a periodic signal. The fundamental frequency is also called the 1st harmonic, the other harmonics are known as higher harmonics.

Signals represents a sound which in this case is the Golden Mantra which is further magnified by deep controlled breathing, visualization and intent.

However, when meditating properly, it has been shown that you can also affect energy waves on a sub-atomic and even quantum level as well.

Top Ad infinitum

is a Latin phrase meaning "to infinity" or "forever".

In Hebrew, the term Add-Ha-Sof (עד הסוף) is used which means "until the end" or in Sanskrit you may say Ananta (अनन्त) which means "never ending".

In Gnostic texts, the word Sofia is not a girls name and is in fact, actually 2 words: "Sof-Yah". (shortened to SofYa) Translates as "the end of Yah" which is the YAH form YHVH (or as most Christians know it as Jehovah).

Consider this: YAH may be spelt as Yah, Ya, Yar, Yahh, Yaa, Ja and other varieties - plus - if you did not know the origin of the word, you could - in modern English - substitute the Y with the letter " I ".

Top Adaptogens

Adaptogens are a group of specific plants, herbs and some mushrooms (like Lion's Mane) which have been shown to help reduce stress and help balance the body (or homeostasis).

Adaptogens are not miracle workers and your body needs to have a certain level of health before you start to feel any benefits.

Plus some Adaptogens are stronger than others. For example, Ginseng, CBD Hemp Seeds, Astragalus root, Ashwagandha, Liquorice root, Maca, Turmeric + others.

Dark Chocolate 86%+ cacao (rich in flavonoids) has been shown to increase Stem Cells and these are highly beneficial to have especially when meditating.

Some websites claim that there are over 50 known Adaptogens and some sites like WebMD claim over 70.

Many Adaptogens have also been linked to healthier stem cell production.

Why is this here?

Because many people have a hard time starting meditation and often this is because their bodies are in conflict with themselves.

I have found that "often", people who are having trounle starting meditation, can be calmed down naturally.

What about , do they help relax me?

Top Kavanah (כונה)

Kavanah has multiple meanings in Hebrew.

  1. focus
  2. attention (to detail)
  3. devotion (to)
  4. intention (intent)
  5. concentration
  6. intense meditation

In Kabbalah, the word "Kavanah" is extremely important. Kabbalah is not like having a picnic or going to a party.

The very essence of Kabbalah is built on Kavanah.

The same focus is important when meditating and this is why is superior.

Because without dedication, focus and intent, you are basically just moving your lips.

Top Psalm 27:4

Did you know that you can use Psalm 27:4 as your meditation mantra?

This became much bigger than I originally anticipated, so I have created its own page here

Focus on the words with pure intent to manifest this to happen.

Psalm 27:4 is considered "The Mantra" to focus on in the coming "Days of Awe" and this is the whole point of this website.

Psalm 27:4 is also one of the which condenses all good religious teachings.

Top The HarMony Epiphany

The HarMony Epiphany came to us when we realized that the word Harmony sounded like 2 words and coincidently, these 2 words dove-tailed perfectly into our lesson.

HarMony sounds like HARM MONEY which when you reflect on these 2 words, you realize that money is the catalyst of all of the negativity we see today in the world.

Money is not the root of all evil, that privilege is bestowed upon the ignorant and the arrogant.

So How Does It Work?

When you realize that Harm + Money (Har+Mony) are joined, then you may also realize that the single word can be mentally split.

To get at least 1 answer, we must split and rearrange all of the components of this "game".

I think that because of his silence at the proclamation, we all started focusing on these 4 words. Suddenly it all made sense.

Money is tied to - and generally represents - physicality and physicality is tied to the body.

The body is connected to the mind.

The mind is the interface between the brain and soul.

Your soul connects you to The Creator.

But you can only connect with The Creator through absolute Stilness.

So your question now becomes: what comes before No-Mind?

One Answer

  1. Money - delete money
  2. Body - become stoic
  3. Mind - transcend your mind
  4. Soul - seek the source of your soul
  5. Silence - listen to The Silence

Zen can be quite logical sometimes.

Top Sukhasana

Sukhasana (Easy Pose) describes any comfortable sitting position.

You can sit straight legged or cross-legged in the lotus, half-lotus or No-Lotus position.

Despite what you may read on some websites, Sukhasana simply means to sit comfortably and you do not need to sit on the floor, a mat or anything else which is uncomfortable to you personally.

You can sit on the floor (if you like), or on an office chair (while at work), or on the lounge or even a recliner. So long as you personally are comfortable.

You can sit straight legged or cross-legged in the lotus, half-lotus or No-Lotus position.

For most people, the full Lotus is extremely difficult (see image) - and in reality, trying to sit in this full-lotus position (or even the half-lotus) often deters people from continuing to meditate.

To be honest, at my age, my personal favorite sitting position for meditation is on my reclining lounge chair tilted back approx 30 degrees.

Top Metaphor or Metaphorically

A metaphor is a figure of speech that describes an subject, object or action in a way that literally is not true, but helps explain an idea or make a comparison for you to better understand the context of the discussion or event.

Top Moksha

Moksha and nirvana are both spiritual concepts that refer to a state of liberation, but they differ in their focus in their respective religions.

Moksha also called vimoksha, vimukti, and mukti, is a term in Buddhism, Hinduism, Jainism, and Sikhism for various forms of emancipation and liberation of the soul from reincarnation - at least back on this level.

Top Amitabha

Amitabha is a phrase you may often hear - as a type of greeting - if you watch old Chinese Buddhist or Kung-Fu movies.

Amitabha, also known as Amida or Amitayus, is a central figure in Pure Land Buddhism and a widely worshiped Buddha (enlightened One) in the Mahayana branch of Buddhism.

Amitabha's name comes from the Sanskrit word Amitābha, which means "Boundless Light" or "Limitless Light".

In simple English, Amitabha is a blessing you say to someone wishing them "Boundless Light".

NOTE: Amitabha is often (or at least it used to be) translated as "Buddha bless you".

Top Shalom Aleichem

Shalom Aleichem was composed in the 1700's and modern day music added in the early 1900's.

In summary, it tells of 2 angels who accompany each man back home after Shabbat service (friday night) and one is a guardian and one is a tempter.

Both are witnesses.

The "tempter" is often referred to as the evil angel, but in truth, it is the "job" of this angel to tempt each person and see whether they truly have a spiritual heart or not.

These temptings may be physical, verbal, visual and even thoughts. (Thoughts, speech, actions)

If I may make a suggestion?

Sing this song ALL the way home as well as when you arrive at home.

Suggestion 2

This "temptation" occurs not only after Shabbat services, but all the time. So if I may suggest that you consider this as your daily - in-between davening - mantra?

Top Phonetics

In English, our vowels have 3 sounds, (1) is a hard sound like CAT or ANGRY (2) is a soft sound like APPLE or FATHER and (3) is silent like in ARM or BUY.

Buddha is how we pronounce Buddha but in India, most people refer to him as "The Bhudh". The letter H is almost silent.

In Egypt, the currency is called the POUND (like the UK) but since most Arabs cannot pronounce the letter "P", in Egypt is is commonly referred to as the "BOUND".

Most people know about the Japanese with their L and R mix ups, but Japanese also interchange the letters M & N as well.

In Vietnamese, the letter M is often very soft or completely missing. Watch Tự Tâm Văn's lips when she sings Om Mani Padme Hum (without the M at the end). or again here

Perhaps you are more familiar wth the Spanish translation of the English letter J which now becomes a H.

Or the Dutch letter G which becomes a soft gutteral.

And the list goes on...

Remember that your personal language is not the only one out there and that is why there is such a diversity of letters like Vietnamese + Arabic + Russian + Greek + Japanese + Hebrew + Korean + Maori + German , etc.

These all have different characteristics from English) like Umlauts, Tildes and Acutes +++), sometimes small changes and sometimes completely different.

Top Ex-Nihilo

What does Ex-Nihilo mean?

Ex nihilo is a Latin phrase meaning "out of nothing".

To go further, consider a light bulb where the light has been turned on.

In essence, this "light" suddenly appears but what is even more interesting is that it is literally "recreated" every micro-second which sustains its ability to produce light.

As opposed to a (disco) "strobe" light which rapidly flashes on and off.

In relation to creation, it is said (Kabbalah) that The Creator continually sustains all of creation every micro-second.

Let us hope that "He" does not sneeze. :)

Top Mind Of No Mind

The "Mind-Of-No-Mind", or Mushin (無心) in Japanese, refers to a mental state where the mind is free from thoughts, emotions, and attachments, allowing for spontaneous and effortless action and inter-action.

When I was around 20, I read a book called the by Dennis Schmidt.

This book introduced me to the concept of "Being Where You Are" "when you are there" - and if you are looking for a very basic introduction to Zen concepts, may I suggest you read this book.

Some may see this as a book about hidden forces controlling us and the problem with human density and mental coersion, but to be honest, we are seeing this exact scenario play out today in the US at the moment with University students not even being able to name 2 or even how to do simple in their heads or even simple words. and what is worse than all of that is they (generalization) are even using AI like to do their exams.

Top Examples Of Hate

Most hate seems to come from the deranged left in both society and religion.

Unfortunately, as we saw in world war 2, there was a question posed after Nuremberg which asked this:

Was hitler and a few hundred of his upper echelon to blame for over 65 million deaths or the 70 million germans who remained silent and went along "for the ride" without questioning what was happening?

As explained by the ever brilliant

  1. You can read Brigitte Gabriel's book called which will open your eyes on "the" Middle East - and this hate is spreading around the world as you sleep - so you had better catch up.

Just like the smell of nasty excrement, hate can pervade and soak into your brain, mind, body and hair if you reside in its proximity for long enough.

Genesis 18 ↟↟

There is a deeper meaning to Genesis 18.

SUMMARY

The short version is as follows.

The Lord appeared to Abraham and behold, 3 men appeared before Abraham.

So Abraham made them non-kosher food and then when the 3 men departed (verse 22), Abraham was still standing before The Lord and "The Lord" said that they were going down to destroy and Abraham asked The Lord "Perhaps there are fifty righteous men in the midst of the city"?

The Lord said that for the sake of the 50 righteous, "He" would not destroy the city.

Abrahem then asked about lesser numbers (45, 30, 20) until he got to 10.

The Lord said that for the sake of the 10 righteous, "He" would not destroy the city.

But if there was less than 10 righteous in the city, then it was Hasta-La-Vista baby.

The Lesson?

The lesson is that IF you live in an area, town, village or city where there are less than 10 righteous people, then you should leave before disaster strikes.

Move to a place where there are good people who study the Laws of God.
