Detoxing

Detox will depend on a few things.

If you want a better quality meditation and a better quality of life, you may like to consider at least detoxing the following.

Also consider that most detoxes will take from 6 weeks to 3 months depending on your age and exposure of specific toxins.

You should also be aware that slow detoxing is much safer and better for your health than fast or rapid detoxing.

Commercial Chelators can be more dangerous than you realize and the ones I have tried (to see how they work) have left my brain feeling like a dry sponge.

Commercial Chelators can be indiscriminate in their forced removal or bad and good minerals, so please consider when you have viable safer options.

Top Detox Active Combat

Many "Vets" come back from active service and their mental "wiring" is fried.

This is mainly caused by your "Cortisol" levels being "Off The Chart" and "Out Of Control", due to stress.

The psychology ramp

As an ex-grunt, I understand that the ARMY (+ Rangers, Seals, Marines etc) take us UP a "ramp", expect us to jump into the fight and then when we are discharged, we are on our own.

The military does not give us a "down ramp" adventure we can associate with to find our (almost) normal life again.

We may be discharged but most of us are still at the top of that Ramp - and the main cause is "Cortisol" usually stimulated by an overactive emotional (mental) state of mind.

Cortisol

Cortisol is a hormone that helps the body manage stress by regulating blood sugar, blood pressure and it also helps control metabolism - it is the engine that powers your "fight or flight" response to threats, and supports vital functions like immune response and sleep-wake cycles.

When your Cortisol is "Out Of Whack", then so are you.

It may also be possible that your Pituitary Gland is calcified or has other problems and you may need to consider as well.

2 Down-Ramp Solutions ↟↟

Solution 1

I have seen this work for some guys who were in Vietnam and could not get the jungle out of their system.

They re-enlisted and usually within 12 months, they had enough of the new play-time ARMY and they got discharged (based on merit) or they simply went AWOL.

My solution is to create a POST-Training "camp" where guys can stay as long as they want - and leave whenever they want - where they do the full macho Army training from dawn to dusk (rain, hail or snow) until they no longer need to have their brains ratcheted up to 1,000++.

They just need to get the hyper-vigilant military system OUT of their system and there is nothing like chitty weather to help that happen.

I would combine Solution 1 with Solution 2.

Solution 2

However, there is a "down ramp solution" which you may be interested in and it is called "Meditation".

helps control your Cortisol levels and Meditation also helps you think through stressful situations without becoming an IED. (I speak from personal experience)

In fact, Meditation should be taught as part of basic training.

Remember when they taught us to "Turn Into An Ambush" and remember your first thoughts that it was a stupid idea? Until they explained the logic behind the action.

You are being attacked by stress and Cortisol is the main antagonist, and I want you to "Turn Into This Attack", OK. In fact, to some, it feels like the whole world is attacking.

It is well documented that Meditation helps control cortisol.

I have seen and spoken with "guys" (only men so far) who have come back from Active Duty in "Active Zones" and some of them cannot even open a door without thinking if it will blow up or not.

I have spoken with guys from VietNam through to Iraq and Afghanistan and the playbook is always the same - there are blank pages when we get to the end of the tour.

I have seen meditation help many of these lost souls.

It has helped them socially, mentally and physically health wise, emotionally, in their relationships, spiritually and allowed many to become grounded enough to almost feel normal again. (I am not making any promises OK)

Most people do not understand what it is like to live next to death for days and weeks at a time and your entire universe becomes a dark bubble. The only bright light you can hang on to is your loved ones back home.

Alcohol and drugs DO NOT help and in most cases, they actually exacerbate (make worse) the situation.

Detoxing should take you at least 3 months.

Some elements may come out after 6 weeks, but it is best to be safer then sorry so set your goal to a minimum of 3 months before trying any advanced meditation and at least 3 months before trying any fasting.

At least 2 weeks before you start doing advanced meditation, (or "Water Fasting") you should start taking Potassium an Magnesium supplements.

This helps deStress your heart.

I would also suggest that you included Chromium, Vanadium, and Lithium as a minimum as these will help you avoid .

Water Fasting ↟↟

If you want to do any Fasting, may I strongly suggest that you do "Water Fasting" and not dry fasting.

This is because when you do "Water Fasting", you body has a way of excreting toxins which may come loose as you lose fat.


Top Some Diseases Associated With Sugar

Sugar is possibly the worst food you can put into your body.

I speak from experience.

Sugar and excess carbs (I lived in Japan for over 10 years) gave me diabetes which caused many functions of my body to "not function" properly - or at all.

Carbs convert into sugars in your gut and processed carbs are the worst, like white rice, potatoes, anything with flour including pasta etc.

One of the problems I had was too much water as my body tried to get rid of the excess sugar in my system which in turn gave me congestive heart failure because my body stopped processing water properly and this made my heart swell up to the point it stopped working.

My second problem was that I was working 16+ hours a day so I was not overly focused on my health - mainly due to deadlines.

I am telling you this so that you can recognize the symptoms of stupidity.

Living in Japan means that most of my meals were rice based.

Trivia Du Jour: In fact, in Japan the word for "cooked" rice is Gohan (Gohahn) and this is the same word 95% of people will use when asking if you want to eat something (or if you have already eaten something). Despite what google translate says.

Note that the letters "M" and "N" are often interchangeable and often indistinguishable when listening to someone speak Japanese.

I tell you this because when someone (typically) asks you if you want to eat lunch or dinner, they will often use the word Gohan and then you will often get something with rice.

Because of my very heavy work load, I had stopped my daily 3 mile (6Kms) walks.

Please do not make my mistake.

As I said, I ended up with diabetes which led to congestive heart failure.

My congestive heart failure caused me to literally black out to the point of dying - and I fell "head first" 90 degrees onto a solid floor and smashed my head - there was a loud popping sound and then I was floating above my body - (I died twice to be exact).

When I died I had the most amazingly beautiful experiences - and then I came back.

My experience inspired me to finish this website which I had been working on before my accident.

Also, after I was dead, everything vanished, all of physicality evaporated in a microsecond. That was when I understood the significance of the theory.

And it gets worse, when I was in hospital for almost 3 months, the medications they gave me damaged my liver and kidneys.

I also had severe brain damage.

Luckily for me I had a heap of herbal medicine that I myself for liver, kidneys and brain, so I went from being over 80% memory loss to over 90% returned memory within 3 years.

Plus my doctors are surprised at how healthy my liver and kidneys are - a fact they tell me on almost every visit.

Top Reset Your Biome

Resetting your "gut" (intestines) biome is easy.

Firstly, you need to make your own "Organic" fermented vegetables and eat these daily.

There is a book called which is brilliant and will help you with almost every question.

You will also need to make your own milk based ProBiotics and even if you are a vegan, you can do this for 4 - 6 weeks and then go back to being a vegan. The important thing here is your health before ideology.

Important Side Note.

There are 2 types of milk.

1) Type 1 (A1) is the one that causes people to have stomach upsets and may make some people sick.

2) Type 2 (A2) is the one which does not get negative reactions (in most cases). This is the one I prefer to use.

More information is available on the A2 websites.

I use regular full fat A2 milk and I add 250 mls of full fat cream to 2 liters (4.4 pints) of milk.

Be careful that the cream is not synthetic, or processed to reduce fat OR contains vegetable oils.

I leave this sit our in a warm location for 8 - 12 hours so that the bacteria multiply and a trick I learned from the Bedouin from the Sahara was to never clean the container (they don't) and they just keep topping up the fermenting milk with more milk and cream when it gets down below 50%.

NEVER use fat free milk.

Leave in a warm place for another 8 + hours and then pop in the fridge.

If the milk separates into curdles and whey (whey is the slightly yellow watery stuff at the bottom), then you can strain through some paper towel (I do) and you will end up with a cottage cheese substance.

Alternatively, you can leave until it separates and then strain as I described in the last paragraph.

2 Processes.

1) I add various probiotic powders into some room temperature water (as many as I can get) and then when this is mixed, I add to the milk.

There is emerging evidence that the mRna vaccine reduces and even mRna destroys Bifidobacterium (Bifido) which is critical for new born and developing babies - but this also affects adults as well. + + +

I make KEFIR using Kefir Grains (never use the kefir starter as it has a very limited number of probiotic bacteria).

Bedouin Method ↟↟

This will upset a few people but I have tried this and I still use this method even today with great success.

When I was in High School I remember reading a story (Speed Reading Assessment test) about Bedouin crossing the Sahara where they would put goats or camel milk into the same "goat skin" (pouch) container and just keep topping up daily.

In other words, they never cleaned or changed the goat skin pouch.

When I was in Sinai (1976, 1977, 1978) the Bedouin I met there also used the same method.

This is what I learned on how to keep the Yogurt (Yoghurt) fresh for months and even years.

My (no goats skin pouch) Method

I add 1 liter of (warm 25C / 77F) full cream milk to a 2 liter HDPE container (NOT PET plastic).

DO NOT over heat - MAX temperature is 30C / 86F or you will kill the bacteria.

Next, I add a variety of different Probiotic Bacterium like Bifido (Bifidobacterium lactis), Acidophilus (Lactobacillus acidophilus), Bulgaricum (Lactobacillus bulgaricus), Kefir (Yogurt (Yoghurt)), Lactobacillus Reuteri (DSM 17938 and ATCC PTA 4659 or 55730), and whatever else you can get your hands on like Yakult etc.

Next I dissolve 2 or 3 tablespoons of into 1/2 cup of hot water and dissolve - then add 250mls of COLD cream.

I add all of these together and I top up the container with more milk leaving a gap near the top of about 2 inches or 5 cms.

If you have a large family, you may like to make 2 or even 3 of these when you start.

Suggestion

  1. 1 person == 2 x 2 liter containers.
  2. 3-5 people == 3 x 2 liter containers.
  3. 6-8 people == 4 x 2 liter containers.
  4. 9-12 people == 6 x 2 liter containers.

Leave this is a warm place (No sunlight) and not more than 30C / 86F)

Timeline

Typically takes 24 - 36+ hours to convert into a thick gelatinous mass.

Dosages

1 regular coffee cup in the AM per person.

Topping Up

To keep this Yogurt (Yoghurt) in progress, wait until you have about 10% left at the bottom of the container and then top up with FULL cream milk.

Put the lid on and shake several times. Then leave in a warm place until it converts into Yogurt (Yoghurt).

Try it, you will be massively surprised how fresh it taste if you continue using this production method, even weeks and months later.

Warnings

Do NOT add anything to your main batch.

If you want to add extra to your Yogurt (Yoghurt), please do this post production.

Otherwise you may end up with bad smelling Yogurt (Yoghurt) as the added ingredients go off over time.

Also, if you add (for example) Banana to your main Yogurt (Yoghurt), then you will have a taste problem when you add other fruit.

Do Not add magnesium powder to your Yogurt (Yoghurt).

Additives

  • Raw honey is antibacterial so this is not a good choice.
  • Cinnamon is antibacterial so this is also not a good choice.

Organic Chocolate powder is good. ()

Organic Strawberry powder is good. ()

Fruit like Pawpaw, melons, peach, pear, kiwi fruit, red plums, banana, dates and even apricots are good to add but I suggest that you puree them first in a blender.

When you add fruit to your Yogurt (Yoghurt), it should be stored in the fridge and consumed within 24 hours.

If you leave it out of the fridge, it will ferment and smaller children usually do not like all of the bubbles.

Experiment, 1 cup at a time.

Personally

I have 1 cup early AM and 1 cup late in the PM - but - if you have trouble with mucus, then only take in the AM so that your body can process the milk throughout the day and not while you are trying to sleep.

You Will Need.

  • Licorice root (Glycyrrhiza glabra)
  • Dandelion root (Taraxacum officinale)
  • Milk Thistle seeds (Silybum marianum)

Fenugreek seeds are usually taken in food but first you need to "Brown" the seeds in a frying pan.

Fenugreek seeds are very high in carbs and NOT recommended for people with diabetes.

However, you can also make a tincture from them (but this tastes awful - IMO). This is why you need the Licorice root or Peppermint.

I make a tincture from these.

  1. Gymnema (Gymnema sylvestre)
  2. Oregano (Origanum vulgare)
  3. Milk Thistle seeds (Silybum marianum)
  4. Licorice root (Glycyrrhiza glabra) or
  5. Peppermint ( Mentha piperita L.)

I use Peppermint for flavoring only. Only use Peppermint "OR" Licorice root and do not use together.

Make Your Own Tincture ↟↟

Simple recipe.

You can double or triple this if you like.

Add 50 grams of Each powder into a separate sealable container and then add 750mls of 40% ABV (80 proof) vodka.

The container should be HDPE plastic (not PET) or glass.

You will also need several 2 x 4 ounce (2x 120ml) dropper bottles.

Label your dropper bottles with the following info.

  1. Herb Name + scientific name || Eg Milk Thistle seeds (Silybum marianum)
  2. 40% Vodka x 750mls bottle + (date)
  3. 2026-Jul-06

Date Format: I would strongly suggest that you write down the date in the above format. Year Month Day because there are 3 global date formats and it may get confusing to other people.

Also use the abbreviated long month and not the number month to avoid even more confusion. Eg: January becomes JAN and February becomes FEB etc etc.

If you have tinctured powder, wait 24-48 hours and then strain some of the liquid through coffee filter paper (unbleached) and into a clean glass.

I make the labels 2 x 120 mls (2x 4 ounce) dropper bottles first.

Pour filtered liquid into your labeled dropper bottles and then add 1 more 750mls of vodka to your original tincture mix.

Leave this in storage (fridge is good) until you need to refill your used dropper bottles.

Suggested Dosage ↟↟

Gymnema 5 mls (1 teaspoon) before meals.

This will always be 5 mls.

Milk Thistle 5 mls (1 teaspoon) before bed or after evening meal.

Oregano 5 mls (1 teaspoon) before evening meal.

Licorice root 5 mls (1 teaspoon) before bed or after evening meal.

Licorice root is well documented as a liver healer.

If you are concerned by the volume of dis-information online about Licorice root, please consider taking a potassium supplement as well.

I have been taking 20mls (1 tablespoon) of this a day for over 20 years and I have had multiple blood tests and there has never been a problem.

In fact, when I was diagnosed with diabetes, the doctor actually commented at how healthy my liver appeared to be from the test results.

I have tried commercial "Chelators" like EDTA and DMSA and I can tell you from my own personal experience, they ripped so much good stuff out of my brain it felt like a dry sponge.

I had trouble sleeping, focusing, working and communicating.

You know, all of the things normal people do.

There is a much softer way to detox and yes, it takes longer but is also a lot less stressful especially if you have things to do each day (like live).
