How does understanding the "Cosmic Microwave Background" help me spiritually? (answer near bottom of the page)

We are taught that there was a "Big Bang" and that microwaves erupted from this bang and then shortly thereafter, they cooled and formed atoms which then formed dust (I am skipping over the matter and anti-matter bit) and we are also taught that microwaves move at the speed of light.

And we are also taught that the CMB is all around us but how can this be IF light moves (more or less) in a straight line?

And if they were moving AT light speed to begin with and we are NOW moving faster than light speed, then how can we actually exist?

So the "logic" is that the "Universe is expanding" and we are being carried along with this expansion BUT we are still moving faster than light speed which ever way you sugar coat it.

What is the Cosmic Microwave Background?

(We are told that) the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) is the faint, leftover heat radiation from the Big Bang, a "snapshot" of the universe when it was only about 380,000 +- years old and cooled enough for atoms to form, allowing light to travel freely.

Except that the vast majority of Space is cold - so 380,000 +- years is an extremely long time considering the speed that the "radiation" was traveling at?

We are taught that the light from this ancient event stretched into microwaves by billions of years of cosmic expansion and fills all space as a nearly uniform glow, detectable as faint static on old analog TVs (commonly referred to as "snow") and crucial for understanding the universe's origins, contents, and evolution.

But I thought that we are taught that there were microwaves created "after" the big bang?

So IF the light from distant galaxies converts back into microwaves, doesn't that make the CMB theory obsolete?

At least, this is what we have been taught - but what if this is wrong?

Also, the Big Bang supposedly originated at a specific point and all of the "radiation" migrated "outwards" from that point traveling at the speed of light - so why are we still getting bombarded with CMB radiation?

IF something is traveling North to South, how can it arrive from East or West?

So according to Einstein, the faster something travels, the slower time is.

Einstein's theory of special relativity says where time is relative and affected by speed, with faster speeds leading to greater time dilation.

My Problem.

If we do not know the (a) Shape and (b) How Big the universe is, how can we make assumptions about the age and size of the universe?

And just like hypersaline "Brine Pools" in the ocean, how do we know that there are not Hyper-Vacuums - or for that matter, pockets of anti-matter - in space which distort and even negate light or even planets or bigger?

And for a left field thought, since we do not know the actual size of "Space" per se, how do we know if there are "other" universes (or not) contained within this "Space"?

And even further left is this question: "How do we know that these waves are not "Aliens" chatting on frequencies that are so old, they have converted into what we detect as microwaves?"
