What Are Chakras?
Chakras are representations of "some of" the energy centers on the body.
Some texts you may read say that there are 5 chakras and some say 7 chakras and some say 10.
I was taught that the person sees what they are supposed to at the level they are currently at.
As they evolve spiritually, more secrets are revealed to them.
So if you do not see all 7, do not freak out, simply search your heart for truth and then apply this truth and honesty to your life, then more secrets will (may) be revealed to you.
What about animals?
I do not know if Chakras apply to animals or if they do, at what level an animal is imbued with Chakras. This was one of many questions I never asked or was taught.
I have personally done "Chakra Healing" in the past with great success.

Chakra Rainbow
Each Chakra has its own color and symbol. This is 1 common representation of the 7 Chakra symbols and colors.
However, some people have taken poetic license and created their own mandala versions.
There are three main types of mandalas.
- Sand Mandalas

- Healing Mandalas

- Teaching Mandalas

Colored Sand Mandalas
Colored Sand Mandalas are destroyed after completion to teach the impermanence of life and the frivolity of attachment to material "things", even beautiful ones.
They are serve to enhance focus and attention on what may appear to be mundane tasks (like meditating), which are part of a bigger picture and when the small segments are combined, they produce something very beautiful.
They also show that while ego, arrogance and privilage may be manifest (created) by someone, all it takes is the flick of a hand to terminate the illusion of physical wealth.
Consider these questions.
Meditating on a Mandala is a visual meditation so you can utilize a secondary "conceptual" mantra which is more philosophically based than it is vocalized.
Check out the "PreCog Thoughts" method here which may help many of you.
Consider these questions when you meditate on your Mandala (or "Yantra" ).
- What is your souls name?
- Who were you before you were born?
- Where were you before you were born? (not physically)
- Do you want to come back to this level (planet) in your next lifetime?

- How can you feel Love if all you are is a highly advanced amoeba (20.0)?
- How many lifetimes have you lived?
Here is an example of the completed "Kalachakra" sand mandala - and is associated with the sacred Kalachakra "Shambhala Warriors Prophecy".
Healing Mandalas
Healing Mandalas are used for healing the mind and body in meditation, and to help promoting well-being, not only in the student but these may also be used as a channel to focus healing on others.
Sometimes these do not work (especially these days) due to psychotropic (synthetic) medicines or physical deficiencies as I explain here.
Teaching Mandalas
Teaching Mandalas teach students about esoteric, spiritual or philosophical teachings (or all 3).
Modern Art Mandalas
4. And then there are the frivolous mandalas created by artistic people and these simply represent "art" (usually computer driven) and do not have any spiritual significance.
One example which is completely Not related to anything is the Baby Chakra. For those with a sense of humor.
I put this here because I want you to notice the "Heart Chakra" symbol below. The green one.
Please remember that a symbol is just that, a symbol. It simply represents something else like a logo represents a company - or a country flag which represents a specific country.
The colors below are examples only and they do not represent the "True colors" of what each Chakra actually looks like. Most people have seen a rainbow and you will know that the colors below are similar in descriptive context only, while the actual color of the rainbow cannot be accurately expressed as words.
Visualize Your Chakras Filling Up ↟↟
The colors below are a basic 1 dimensional representations only.
If you want to visualize the true colors, try this.
Visualize the most beautiful colors you have ever seen and then multiply that by thousands. Then add warmth, love, intelligence, kindness and compassion and you are getting close.
Most people who have had an "NDE" (Near Death Experience) will have a better understanding of this.
Check out the Heart Chakra.
You may like to turn your volume down first...
Click image in the middle to see short pop up video which gives you various visualizations of how to "fill" your Chakras with color.
Note
The sounds are there for dramatic effect ONLY and have nothing to do with the Chakra (at all).

The Divine Chakra
What is the Divine Chakra?
The Divine Chakra (Sudarshana Chakra सुदर्शन चक्र) is often referred to as the "Divine Gateway" and is the bridge between the "physical" and the "Divine".
My teacher told me that the "Star Chakra" and "Soul Chakra" are not correct names for the "Divine Chakra".
I was taught that the "Soul Star Chakra" is the 8th Chakra and it is located just above the Crown Chakra.
The "Divine Chakra" is above the 8th Chakra.
My teacher also told me that only a student of Truth can find all of the Chakras on the Path.
The Divine Chakra is a transpersonal energy center located above the head and is the direct portal to levels of higher consciousness.
It is activated by the Kundalini but there are a few caveats.
1) The Kundalini is activated by what you would refer to as your sexual energy so any kind of sexual activity will restrict and even stop your ability to "fully" utilize your Kundalini to its maximum potential.
2) Your personal level of honesty will also affect you ability to not only ascend, but it will absolutely affect the quality of the information you receive.
By bridging the physical body with (potential) cosmic energy, The Divine Chakra potentially allows you the ability to draw down universal love and divine wisdom.
With proper training and use, The Divine Chakra potentially allows the student to achieve true transcendence from earthly limitations once they have mastered the "Mind Of No Mind". .
Chakra Color ↟↟
This Chakra is often associated with the colors "Soft Blue" or pure "radiant White Light".
NOTE that you should not visualize the light from a light bulb or the sun as your associated White Light example. Note the word "radiant".
Light from a rainbow would be closer to the light you need to see, but much more pure and effervescent.
Location? ↟↟
Depending upon whose teachings you read, the following information is what I was taught.
In order to access the "Divine Chakra", you must first access the 8th Chakra called the "Soul Star Chakra" which is located above the "Crown Chakra".
The "Divine Chakra" is located above the 8th Chakra.
Suggestion
Do not think of this like an APP that you can download, play with and then discard when you are bored.
It requires dedicated "advanced" meditation practice daily and a true desire to seek the truth of The Creator.
Without these, all you have is illusion and deception (smoke and mirrors).
Plus you will still have to contend with and overcome The Guardians that watch The Path.
The "Divine Chakra" is not a toy and if you have a foible character, it will exploit this against you in a very dramatic and life ending way.
This is why I will not teach this method here, I only wish to make you aware of its existence.
As A Weapon ↟↟
The Divine Chakra (Sudarshana Chakra) is described as the 108 "serrated-edged" spinning disc (weapon) of Lord Vishnu and was designed and created in order to vanquish evil and should only be used to protect Dharma by bringing the Light of wisdom into the world. This would be ideal for the "Shambhala Warriors".
Obviously this is not a physical weapon.
Also note that this is not the "Chakram" either.
The Divine Chakra Mantra ↟↟
FYI: The Divine Chakra (Sudarshana Chakra) has a mantra.
